The Witchy Elf

She is famed as the Greatest of all Witches and yet one day she was found dead. What's more shocking is that she doesn't even know how she had died or who had killed her. Luckily for her, she got another chance as she reincarnated. When she came back to life, she doesn't recognize her surroundings nor the people around her. When she saw herself, she finally found that the body her soul entered was not her's but instead it belonged to an Elf. An Elf whom all the other Elves bully as a Good-for-nothing. It doesn't matter if she was a Good for nothing because her own talent was enough to strive any environment by herself. But what matters is that both the Magical clans Witches and Elves were said to be rivals for around thousands of years for now. How could she survive being a member of a rival clan? She thus starts a brand new journey of being an elf while using her techniques that she learned being a witch. She moves on finding the reason behind her death and the person who was responsible for the same. She continues proving everyone that she not only could be the Greatest of all the Witches but she could also be the Greatest of all Elves- of course by using a little, just a little, of her witchcraft. But can she stop by just being the Greatest of Witches and Elves? Maybe she could go beyond that? Follow her journey to find more... The Witchy Elf - Why just a Witch or an Elf when she can be both? Danger ahead 1

It is one thing to hate each other but why is it that they were scared of each other?

Until now, Tanzi never thought of this question because she never had to think of such a question that was not much related to her.

But now that she entered the body of an elf, she couldn't help but wonder about all these which she had never thought of in her previous life.

But then again, she realized that this is not the time to think of these doubts either.

Firstly she had to talk to the merman in front of her and then go to her 'home' which she had never seen before.

When she finally came back from all her thoughts, she saw that the Merman was looking at her with an inquiring gaze.

Tanzi did not speak anything but once again gave him an innocent look along with a smile and blinked her eyes twice.

The Merman sighed and nodded his head. He pointed his finger in a direction and told her the route clearly giving her instructions about every step she had to take.

Tanzi raised an eyebrow and asked him, "Umm, why do you know my address so clearly? Are we that close before this?"

His eyes shone with a hint of amusement when he heard her words as he smiled and answered, "You could say that."

'Huh? What could I say? Okay, we may be close before this. But my question is how the hell do you know my address? Why didn't you answer that question first?' Tanzi looked at him waiting for the answer to this question but it looks like he decided to keep his mouth shut and not speak anymore.

It is not that he shouldn't know her address. But it was because he was a merman that her question in her mind was strong.

How could a merman know her address clearly with every step that she should take when he couldn't even get out of his lake?

Well, since he doesn't want to answer then it is better to just let him be for now.

At least he was not someone that would try to harm her anyway.

As long as he was not a threat to her, she would not question him seriously.

Once he said the whole address, she nodded her head and thanked him seriously, "Thank you. I owe you my life. I will definitely try to pay you back using my life in the future. I will take my leave for now. Thank you once again."

She thanked him and turned away to leave but before she could take another step, he stopped her once again, "Wait."

When she heard his voice, she turned back and looked at him with her doubtful eyes, "Is there something that you want to say?"

For her question, he simply nodded his head.

"What is it?" She asked him while she sat on the ground beside the lake so that he would not strain his neck in order to look at her face to face.

After all, she was standing on the ground while he was calmly floating over the moving water in the lake below.

The Merman smiled when he saw her small action that could ease his strain when looking at her. He looked at her and spoke calmly, "While you were away earlier, I thought for a long time about what happened during the time you were drowning."

As soon as she heard that he was talking about her drowning incident, her expression turned serious as she looked at him with more interest than before.

He saw that she was more interested now and he too spoke a little more seriously, "At that time, didn't I say that I saw four girls leaving this place?"

Tanzi nodded her head as she recalled that he had said that he had seen four girls leaving this place when she drowned.

He then continued, "I did not see them clearly but after thinking for a while, I remember that three girls were leaving in the front but the fourth one was a bit behind. So I got to see that she had long hair that reached her knees."

Tanzi raised an eyebrow not understanding what he meant by that? 'So what?' Shouldn't there be many girls that have knee length hair? She can't simply go and catch every single girl and question them just because they had some long hair, right?

The Merman understood her thoughts and continued speaking, "What is interesting is that she turned her hair into twin braids. Even after braiding her hair, it still reached her knees. Isn't this interesting?"

Tanzi's eyes brightened at his words as she nodded her head. Yes, it is indeed interesting. Definitely interesting.
