Chapter 10
Jon was on his way home when Serena stopped and confronted him, "Well, well, well" Serena said and Jon walked past her as he didn't want to get into a argument with her.
"Jon don't walk away from me" Serena said grabbing his arm and pulled him back "Serena please I am too tired to argue with you" Jon said getting out of Serena's grasp. "Did you forget what happened?" Serena said "I got you out of jail under a deal, as long you stay away from those girls the mayor won't bother you" Serena said smiling.
"Listen Serena I should have told you a long time ago, we are childhood friends" Jon said "I have never loved you in a way a man loves a woman, I have always thought of you as a sister nothing more and nothing less" Jon said walking away again.
"It's because of her isn't it, it's because of Sara" Serena said tearing up which made Jon stop walking and he turned around. "Serena please don't do this" Jon said from where he was standing. "I have always done everything for you and it's like you don't care" Serena said as she faked cried.
Jon took a deep breath and took a minute to think as Serena was on the ground crying and sniffled. Serena glanced at Jon as she continued to fake cry on the ground, "I never thought you would be this cruel Jon" Serena said trying to pump him up.
"Serena" Jon sighed and went knelt down before her "You need to move on and I'm not just saying about me but about other things as well, but in this instance I mean me" Jon said helping her up from the ground. "But I love you Jon" Serena said with watery eyes "I have always loved you, how can I forget that" Serena said closing the gap between them.
"Serena please don't-" Jon said but was cut off by Serena's kiss, for a few moments Jon struggled a bit to break away from her but Serena had wrapped her arms around his neck.
Jon had finally gotten a grip on Serena's arms and broke away from her, "What is wrong with you?" Jon asked still in shock of what had happened "I told you Jon, I love you and I am not going to lose to her" Serena said taking a step forward and Jon took a step back.
"I am going home Serena I suggest you do the same" Jon said leaving her in the middle of the road as he walked towards the town. Serena was filling up with rage inside of her "Well that was something" Serena looked around her and saw officer James coming out from some nearby bushes.
"He is right though" James said with a smile "You really should move on" Serena scoffed and crossed her arms over her chest. "What are you doing here?" she said "Just taking a nice evening walk, I hear it clears the mind and sometimes it gives you a clear perspective on things, you should try it sometimes" James said.
"Stop beating around the bush" Serena said "Do I have to spell everything out for you" James said as he took a deep breath. "If you want to get what you want you have to seperate Jon and Sara and how you may ask, I'll tell you" James said as he walked her back to the town with their arms linked together.
