Chapter 1.2 "The Girl with White Hair"

Andra woke up looking at the blue sky. His head hurt so he looked around at all the places he could see.

Andra saw a strange tree reaching high into the sky. Then he realized he was lying in a green meadow. Not understanding what had happened, Andra slowly got up from the grass.

Suddenly, a humming sound came from Andra's left side. It was a girl with long white hair, wearing a white sleeveless dress and a black skirt. The girl was sitting on a branch, lost in her own world.

Andra didn't understand what had happened. He should have fallen from the roof and probably died. A normal person in this situation would have asked for the white haired girl. But Andra was different. Instead, he tried to stay away and find out what had happened to him.

Andra had just taken a step. Suddenly, there was the sound of wood breaking as Andra stepped on it. The white haired girl immediately turned her head and greeted Andra.

"Ah, are you awake?" the white haired girl greeted.

Andra obviously turned around immediately and engaged the white haired girl in conversation, "By the way, where am I?"

The white haired girl gave a small smile, "You are in the city of Arcadia. Welcome, traveler."

"Traveler?" asked Andra, frowning, "I don't understand what you mean?"

"But it's unique, isn't it? You can already understand the language of this world," the girl continued thoughtfully for a moment, "You must be favored by the witches."

Andra shook his head quickly, "Wait. Can you explain first? I don't understand at all. I fell from a high place earlier. I should have died. But suddenly I woke up in this place."

A small smile appeared on the white haired girl's face, "In short ... You were already dead. Then those great witches brought your soul into this world."

"I knew it!" exclaimed Andra loudly, "At first I thought this was heaven."

"Heaven?" the girl asked with a laugh, and then her face changed drastically, "But seriously. What exactly happened to you?"

*****

A woman dressed all in white stretched out on her bed for a moment. Her long white hair hanging on the floor made it difficult for her for a moment. The all-white room instantly changed rapidly according to her will. From the blue sky, the marketplace full of people, the meeting of the kings, the desert, the ocean and the night sky.

The woman casually got out of bed and looked around. She really didn't expect an uninvited guest to enter her room.

A small smile appeared on her white face. The woman really didn't expect the change in the flow of time. That's why she laughed out loud as she looked up.

"Hey, nameless. Isn't this getting interesting? I thought my life was going to be very boring. But thanks to the arrival of this man. Maybe this boredom will turn into something interesting."

The woman walked over to the round mirror that was flying near her bed. The mirror immediately changed and showed a man named Andra.

"It's a good thing I erased him memory when he came here. If he knew the end of him life. Wouldn't it be so exciting?" the woman lamented.

After the woman was satisfied with the situation in the mirror. In an instant, the mirror returned to its original state.

The woman returned with a small smile, "Yes, right? Anomaly?"

*****

The white haired girl made a surprised face. When she heard Andra's story, it seemed to be cut off immediately. The girl could only pace back and forth.

"That is very unlikely," the girl explained, "Everyone who comes to this world. You must have met witches. But you've never met one? Are you kidding?"

"I'm serious. When I fell and died. I immediately woke up in this place," Andra said, raising his tone in annoyance at not being believed, "What if you meet the witches. It means something bad?"

The white haired girl nodded quickly. She explained that if Andra did not meet the witches. Then Andra would not be blessed by any power in this new world.

Andra raised him hand, "Is this a fantasy world?"

"Fa ... Fantasy?" the girl asked, shrugging her shoulders, "I don't know what you mean. But this is a world full of magic and wonder."

Andra immediately pointed to the girl with hjs right hand. Then he explained that it was called that in the previous world.

The girl just laughed softly as she extended her right hand to Andra, "You already explained your life earlier. So, my name is Enca."

After returning Enca's hand. Andra flopped down on the green meadow. In his heart it was clear that Andra was disappointed. One day, he will definitely die if he doesn't survive for sure.

Enca, seeing Andra, just sat down and held her legs with her hands. Her white hair blowing in the wind made Andra silent. Then Enca asked Andra not to think about it too much.

"It is useless to complain that the witches did not bless you," Enca said quietly, "In this cruel world. Nothing is instant. For every battle there is a sacrifice."

Andra remained silent at Enca's words. He just wanted to hear what she had to say.

"I completely understand how you feel," Enca said, "The reality is that society always oppresses the weak. I've had that bitter experience too. So what if we fight for a better future?"

Andra agreed with Enca's words. He didn't expect Enca to listen to everything he said about life in the previous world.

"I've heard that witches sometimes don't give blessings to bad people. But I didn't know that they don't give blessings to people like you," Enca continued, exhaling heavily, "Fate is cruel, isn't it?"

Andra was confused to continue the conversation between the two. Besides, he was just following the flow of the conversation, which he had no control over. Besides, Andra still did not understand why he had entered another world.

"For now. What if you stay with me? While we find out what happened to you," Enca asked, looking at the sun that was slowly sinking in the west, "Well, to be exact, it's not my house. It's my master's house. But since she's been on an adventure for the last two years. I don't think it would be a problem to have uninvited guests in her house."

Andra was stunned to hear Enca's blunt invitation, "Eh, are you serious? Don't you think someone like me is dangerous because we just met?"

"What can you do?" Enca teased coquettishly, "Even if you could. My master's will surely beat you up later."

In a moment. Andra followed Enca down the grassy hill. There were still many things Andra wanted to ask Enca. But he couldn't get rid of his curiosity.

"Earlier you said 'awake' when you saw me. Did you just see me come into this world?" Andra asked, careful not to slip.

Enca answered yes to Andra's question. Then she explained that this world is filled with the unexpected. One of them was immigrants from other worlds.

"It can be said. The people of this world are no longer surprised by the arrival of people from other worlds," Enca said, "I don't know how it works. But according to the rumors. It's all because of this mysterious tree."

Andra narrowed his eyes, "Mysterious tree?"

"The tree that towers high in the sky," Enca continued, turning around and pointing to a strange tree that Andra was looking at, "That tree is not just in this place. It's actually scattered all over the land."

Andra's eyes fell silent as he stared at the tree Enca pointed to. A tree with a black trunk. The tree had no leaves. Because of its height, it towered above the clouds.

"Has anyone been to the top of this tree?" Andra asked to satisfy his curiosity.

Enca shook her head, "No one has ever reached the top. Even heroes can't get there."

"Very mysterious, huh?" said Andra with a smile.

Enca nodded, "As the name says. The tree is called Yggdrasil."
