SHE’LL NEVER KNOW HOW MUCH YOU LOVE HER

She woke up around 9, not receiving sleep for the past week she finally could relax and sleep. She was happy when she woke up. She stretched her arms up and felt her back bones crack. Stifling her yawn, she looked at the opened window in the room the sun seeped through illuminating on her pearly skin. She lifted the blanket and tiptoed her way to the bathroom.

She refreshed herself and went into the closet to find some clothes. She found that there were men's clothing but on another side of the closet were female clothing. She touched the men's clothing, from the size of them she knew that they belonged to Mo Yan. She lifted one suit, it was tailored to his exact body shape, from one look you knew that they were expensive. She smelled the suit which had his clean and spicy scent. She thought of his piercing eyes that always bore into her soul making her feel safe. Luckily, he was out of town, she sighed she knew that she didn't belong to him. Shaking her head, she went over to her side of the closet and found that none of the clothes that were in her luggage made it to the closet. She thought that it was her Mother in Law who prepared everything for her return. She always made sure that Bai Xin Xi had the best. She picked out a oversized white T shirt dress and a pair of leggings and put her hair in a side French braid.

She was walking downstairs when she was greeted by Butler Shu.

"Good morning Young Madame, Old Madame and Madame are waiting for you."

She gave him one of her contagious smiles, which made him smile. He was admiring his Young Madame. No matter how sad she was she always had a smile upon her face.

"Em."

She glided into the breakfast table and saw the ladies, she sweetly smiled at them.

"Good Morning Sweet child did you sleep well last night?" Mother Mo said to her.

"I did mom sorry for waking up so late," she smiled bashfully at her.

"Little one if you need to rest then rest, here eat some more. You look so skinny." Grandma Mo said to her giving her more food to put on her plate.

Mo Yan had already gone to work around 4 in the morning, she thought she felt hot lips press her forehead, but she knew that it was just a dream.

After breakfast she caught up with her mother and grandmother talking about everything from how her schooling was and how she was faring. She was more worried about them. Her father and grandfather were out in City C, so it was just the ladies.

"Xiao Xi you just arrived back home is there anything that you might need?"

"Nothing grandma, is Mo Yan still in City B or is he with dad and grandfather?"

She was glad that he wasn't home otherwise she would cry into his arms. The man made her feel safe when she was in his arms. She felt that anything that she went through it would pass with him by her side. She then remembered that the man belonged to another. He was forced to marry her and protect her. Bound by duty. It hurt her heart for years that he was already taken but for his mother and grandmother he was willing to let his heart slide and help her.

"He should be back today, should we call him."

She didn't get to answer when Mother Mo called her son.

"Mo Yan are you back yet? Xi Xi just arrived home."

She heard the man on the other end grunt.

He told Butler Shu to not tell anyone that he was home. He would be back to take Bai Xin Xi home later after he finished at work.

"We're going to take Xiao Xi out with us to play mahjong with the ladies. Let me know when you are home."

He grunted again and hung up.

Mo Yan looked out the window after hanging up the phone with his mother. His office building was one of the tallest in City Z he overlooked all the buildings. He saw looked at the bustling streets filled with cars and people walking.

"Boss here's the report that you wanted," Sei Ren came in with a file that Mo Yan requested this morning.

"Boss it looks like Bai Cu wants Young Madame…"

Mo Yan looked at the report that contained the text messages, emails and pictures of Bai Cu ordering people to capture his wife. He stopped and stared at the picture of Bai Xin Xi scared when she saw her Uncle at the school. He clenched his other hand into a fist his knuckles turned white.

"Make sure that she has guards with her at all times." Sei Ren nodded his head and handed more documents to Mo Yan.

Mo Yan sat down he had his hands curled out in front of him touching his chin, the man closed his eyes as he tried to hold off his anger. The secretary's outside felt the dark aura coming from his office they could no longer breath freely as they wanted tip toeing around making sure to not make too much noise.

~PAST~

Five years ago, he found her locked in the warehouse bruised and bloodied. Her bright eyes were stained with tears, he found her starring up at him with trusting eyes. Instead of shying away from him the young girl hugged him not long after finding her she passed out. He had brought his best bodyguards to look for her. "Boss what should we do about the men in here?" Sei Rei said to him.

"Clean it up." The weak girl he was holding up in his arms finally relaxed. He lifted her and walked over to the black Mercedes she was so tiny and small. Her delicate features were marred by bruises and blood from fending herself from those hungry men. He hugged her tightly as if shielding her from the world.

They arrived at the Mo family Mansion his family looked at the girl in his arms. She looked so fragile.

"Mo Yan what happened to Xiao Xi?" his mother had tears near her eyes. His mother was known to be strong she barely cried not even for her sons. When Grandfather Mo sent them to military camp she nodded and let them leave.

"Butler Shu have Nanny Gui prepare a bath for Miss Bai. She'll be living here with us from now on." His words were final everyone in the house listened to him and went to do what he asked.

Wiping her tears away, she went to tend to the young girl she promised to keep safe. It was decided then that they would keep her safe from her Uncle.

~PRESENT~

He heard a knock at his door which made him snap back to the present. Wei Zhen Bei waltzed in his office.

"What's wrong with you? You have the whole office tiptoeing around." His goofy smiled displayed towards his friend.

"How is Little Sister in Law, did you get to see her last night, looking at your mood right now it looks like you didn't even get to see her."

Ignoring the man in front of him he opened one of his files.

"I need some help from you." Without giving Wei Zhen Bei any glance, he continued. "I'll give you the house in Hawaii."

"… If you're willing to give me that house then whatever your requests I'll agree too."

He knew that whatever that he needed help with concerned Little Sister in Law. "Mr. Devil" really loved his wife. Too bad she was clueless to how much he protected her.

"When are you going to tell her how much you love her, if this continues, she'll never know."

"When did you become a meddling old lady?" Mo Yan looked at his friend, his dangerous aura was imposing on Wei Zhen Bei.

"Ahhh, I just remembered that I have to go check on your security."

Mo Yan thought of something as he left.
