4 I SMELL A TRAP…

After breakfast Bai Xin Xi went up to the room to look for a coat to go out with her mother and grandmother. She decided to change her outfit, she looked in the closet and found a bright yellow wrap dress. She then grabbed a white cardigan and put that on her. She went into the bathroom to brush her teeth, while brushing her teeth she looked at the bathroom full of Mo Yan's toiletries. From the looks of it he didn't come home often. She smiled because she knew that he worked from early morning to late at night. She remembered that she used to wait till 12 for him to come home.

She looked at herself in the mirror, she was happy that her blue veins under her eyes had disappeared. Her normal routine consisted of her washing her face and doing her hair. She was just glad that her skin looked more livelier than yesterday. Because she was on the run all week, she didn't have a chance to eat. This morning was the first time to actually sit and eat an actual breakfast. She looked at herself and left to go downstairs.

"Xiao Xi…" both ladies turned to look at her walking down the stairs. They both were in shock of how beautiful she was. Her fair skin was shimmering, her black lashes fanned out and her lips were a cherry red. Her hair was still in her side French braid, but strands were still falling out the loose braid.

She touched her face wondering why the older ladies were looking at her, 'Is there something on my face?' She noticed that everyone has been starring at her which caused her to trip on the step, luckily Butler Shu was at the bottom of the step to catch her fall.

"Xiao Xi are you okay," the older ladies started panic from her fall. She smiled innocently at Mo Nai Nai and her mother.

"Are you two ready?" she acted as if nothing happened.

Both ladies were still stunned from her beauty and her klutzy moment.

'She looks just like her mother,' Zhang Hua thought of her best friend she was just like Bai Xin Xi. Gentle, sweet and a little clumsy she smiled to herself.

"Are you ready?"

"Erm, let go," she gently as she held on to the lady's arms and walked with them outside.

When they arrived at Yan Mansion, the ladies entered the Mansion and were greeted by their butler. All the other ladies have arrived already. Playing and making lots of noises.

All the old ladies were surprised to see the beautiful young lady that walked between Madame Mo and Old Madame Mo.

Bai Xin Xi saw them all staring at her, she started to feel unconscious. She wondered why people looked at her as if she had something on her face.

"Mom do I have something on my face, I feel that people keep staring at me?" she whispered in her ear.

Madame Mo was so surprised that Bai Xin Xi didn't know why they were all staring at her. She smiled because her mother was the same way. "Xiao Xi they're just looking at how pretty my Daughter in Law is," she said proudly but quietly so only she and Bai Xin Xi would hear.

Bai Xin Xi made an incredulous face at her Mother in Law because she didn't believe that the ladies were staring at her because of her looks. Her best friend was a Super Model when she stood next to her, she was not even comparable to her. If her mother knew what she was thinking Bai Xin Xi would probably get a good thrashing.

"Old Madame Mo, who is this young lady next to you," it was Yan Nai Nai who was inquiring she eyed Bai Xin Xi carefully. The ladies have known each other for 40 years anything that happened within the families they all knew they were all wondering who this girl was.

"This is my Daughter in Law," all the ladies were looking at Old Madame Mo crazily, "you've met Zhang Hua she's Mo Zhao's wife?" Grandmother Mo knew what they were asking but chose to feign innocence she didn't want the ladies to think that she was showing off her Granddaughter in Law.

They could tell that Old Madame Mo was not going to say anything anymore, so they stopped pestering her. There was an empty seat next to Old Madame Han and Old Madame Qi. Grandma Mo grabbed Bai Xin Xi hands and had her sit behind her. The other three ladies saw how dotingly Grandma Mo grabbed Bai Xin Xi. The old lady they knew was cold and very aloof seemed very cute in front of the young girl.

"What are you looking at let's play, watch Nai Nai play," she tapped Bai Xin Xi's hands. After a while of watching grandma play, she started to get the hang of playing. She knew that it was by luck but also how well you can tell the other person. Soon she started whispering in Grandma Mo's ears making Grandma Mo win which made her a very happy lady.

'My granddaughter in law is the smartest,' she smiled at the older ladies in the group.

Bai Xin Xi noticed that there were not allot of snacks, so she walked over to the kitchen area to make deserts for the ladies. She remembered that her mother and grandmother loved eating her sweet deserts she made.

"Miss… we can," Bai Xin Xi smiled at the Maid.

"Let me make something for them, you've been serving them all morning long," she smiled kindly at the maid.

The maid sensed that she meant no harm but was genuinely trying to help her she agreed. 'Old Madame Mo has such a pretty helper.'

Bai Xin Xi made all sorts of yummy deserts for the ladies but most of them were Old Madame Mo's favorite and her Mother in Law's. She was happy with the results.

As she was making them snacks the older ladies smelled the aroma coming from the kitchen making their mouths water.

All of them contacted their grandsons to come over to meet the young helper to see if they would be interested in her. The old madams were so silly they knew that she was Old Madame Mo's help but still wanted their grandson to snatch her away. What they didn't know that she was already taken.

She asked the other maids help her carry the tray of desert out. She was happy with the results she brewed the tea herself. It was at the right temperature so when she brought it out the tea was just right to drink.

"I know that I was intruding on your little get together but to make it up to you I made little snacks I hope you enjoy it." She grabbed two plates and gave them to her grandmother and her mother. Madame Mo was so happy that her Daughter in Law was back.

When Bai Xin Xi came with the plate and gave it to her personally Madame Mo was elated with warmth. She didn't have a daughter instead had three sons, but Bai Xin Xi was her daughter now. Bai Xin Xi treated her so well making sure that she was always happy, never stressing and definitely never making her sad.

Song Ji: Bei Cheng my grandma said that if I don't show up, I'm not allowed to go back home.

Li Cheng Zi: Me too I will make sure that you won't sign that new incoming idol.

While all of this was happening, Mo Yan was in his meeting. He left his phone at his desk he was so busy trying to finish everything early so he could take Bai Xin Xi home.

It was an hour after he came back to his office. He looked at his phone and read the messages. While reading his eyes turned dark. The man's strong arms crushed his phone.

"Sei Ren cancel everything this afternoon." Mo Yan left in a hurry to his car.

Sei Ren was so shocked that he couldn't believe that "Mr. Devil" canceled his meetings. He thought that it might have been because of Young Madame she was his savior.

Mu Yi Han arrived at the Mansion first. It had been a while since he came to the Yan Mansion. He parked his car, to his surprise Yan Bei Cheng was getting out of his car and dashing inside. Qi Man and Song Ji but to but on the road. Both Han Sei Cheng and Li Cheng Zi had a business meeting so they came in together. All of them walked briskly towards the entrance not wanting to upset their grandmothers. As they entered, the smell of the deserts that Bai Xin Xi made wafted in their nose.

"Butler Xu who is here?" Yan Bei Cheng saw that the man had a cake in his hands about to take a bite.

The old man looked at his Young Master as he shoveled the fragrant cake in his mouth. Only after he finished eating did he respond.

"All the Old Madame's are here along with Madame Mo, Madame Li, and your mother young master."

Entering the room all the ladies looked at all the handsome men. They were glaring at each of there grandsons. The Old Madame's stare was intense, if the men were scared of anyone it would be there grandmothers.

All of them had goofy smiles upon their faces.

"!!!" Madame Mo was surprised that all the grandsons came. She knew the intent of the older ladies. She looked at Madame Yan and smiled.

"Yan Jie, I didn't know that the boys would be here too? I would have invited Mo Yan to come over also." She said with a knowing smile.

Zhang Hua looked over at her Mother in Law and gave her a smile which was caught by the Old Woman.

Bai Xin Xi was in the kitchen cleaning up her mess. She was happy to make snacks for the ladies. She kept her self-busy in the kitchen not knowing that there were more guests outside. Her phone buzzed in her pocket.

"Xi Xi, where are you?"

"Umm, I'm at Madame Yan's place."

"Ahh, you are my mother and I will be there shortly. I didn't think that they would take you there already."

There was friendly competition among the older ladies. They wanted their grandsons to marry first, but Mo Yan already took that spot, it was now about who would marry and conceive an heir to the throne.

"Mom, I forgot to tell you that Xi Xi came back." Her mother just got off the phone with her father she let the comment sink in.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier."

"Hmmm, you'll see her soon anyways."

Not knowing what her daughter was meaning she looked at her with a question look. Which Han Yi Fei didn't notice.
