CHAPTER 64

The moment we arrived at the resort, I immediately left the group. I carried a frozen Jellal in my back and hitch a ride on the ride. I did this by jumping on top of the train as it was moving. Since I couldn't take a person who was frozen solid inside a public transportation vehicle I thought that this was a good idea.

The moment I arrived at Porlyusica's house, the elderly woman alternated looking at me and the frozen Jellal. She clearly had an annoyed expression on her face.

"Who the heck is that?", Porlyusica said.

"This is Jellal or better known as Siegrain "

"Isn't that the name of one of The Wizard Saint? Why is he here?"

"Yep, that's the guy. I brought him here cause I think some foreign energy is in his body"

"What do you want me to do with that?"

"I thought you could check him for me...."

With an angry look on her face, she said, "You annoying mages of Fairy Tail always giving me so much unnecessary work. Fine, place him in the bed, and make sure to remove your magic. I won't be able to check him if there is a thick layer of ice covering his body".

"Do you have anything that can make him temporarily lose his ability to control his magic or something? Or perhaps to make him lost consciousness longer?", I said as place Jellal inside of her house.

She just threw a vial of black liquid at me. I easily caught the vial and examined it, "What is this?".

"Something that can make him lose consciousness for a solid week", Porlyusica said.

I removed the ice covering Jellal's body and before he could wake up I opened the vial and poured all the contents inside Jellal's mouth. For a moment everything was calm, that was until Jellal opened his eyes. I thought the medicine didn't work so I prepared for battle. Then suddenly his eyes began to roll behind his head until all I could see is his white eyeball. For a brief moment, Jellal's body seems to struggle in pain, and then his body suddenly relaxed itself, his eyes were still open though.

"What the heck?", I said to myself. I look at the vial and gave it a good smell. I nearly puke afterward. Whatever was inside the vial was beyond nasty, it probably was the smelliest thing I smelled in all my lifetimes combined. With pain on my face, I look at Porlyusica and asked, "What was inside of this vial?".

"It's my own concoction. Guaranteed to make someone lose consciousness for at least 1 week. More than enough time for me to check up on him", Porlyusica replied. She then took out a broom and used it as a weapon to kick me out of her house.

"Looks like all I have to do is wait now", I said. I decided to return back to the guild and get something to eat.

Later that night, Porlyusica found something that greatly interested her. She got a communication lacrima and called Makarov and said, "Contact Enzo and tell him to come to my house tomorrow morning".

Makarov couldn't ask her what was it about due to her ending the call immediately. This resulted in a Makarov rumbling about respect and how no one is showing it to him. After calming himself down, he immediately thought that something was wrong with Enzo. Porlyusica is the Fairy Tail's doctor and her contacting Enzo to come to her house tomorrow could mean something serious about Enzo's health. So, Makarov decided that he would tell Enzo and go with him tomorrow.

THE NEXT DAY INSIDE PORLYUSICA'S HOUSE:

"So, let me get this straight, are you saying that a member of the Wizard Saint of the continent of Ishgar is under a powerful possession magic?", Makarov asked Porlyusica with doubt in his voice.

"What I'm saying is that it is a form of possession magic. But Jellal is too powerful to be in someone's total control. This would mean the possession magic that was used on him only corrupts his mind and thoughts. This had most likely led to him believing what cruel things he did were right. Or it could have made him easy to manipulate", Porlyusica replied.

After Makarov told me that Porlyusica contacted him and that she wanted me to go to her house, Makarov wanted to tag along. I didn't mind that, in fact, I wanted him to tag along so that he could help me with Jellal's case.

The moment Makarov saw Jellal, who for him was named Siegrain, the old man was shocked. Makarov was a Wizard Saint, this would mean that he knew what happened with The Magic Council. In fact, he was one of the first few people to know what they did. After Etherion landed the Magic Council's building was attacked and destroyed. They had two suspects for the event, One was Jellal, who is unconscious in Porlyusica's house. While the other is a woman named Ultear.

Immediately after the attack, the Magic Council convened with themselves and strip Siegrain of his title of Wizard Saint. They also gave him a bounty, which equals to at least 3 S-rank missions combine. This would mean that the Magic Council was really pissed about what he did. In fact, they were rumors that the Magic Council would likely increase his bounty in the following days. They really wanted him to be sent into prison as quickly as possible.

Makarov then asked me how I came into contact with Jellal. I then told him everything I know about what Jellal did. About him and Erza building a tower in the past and about how his real name was Jellal and not Siegrain. After hearing my tale, that was the moment Porlyusica explained her assessment of Jellal's condition.

"Damn, he was a Wizard Saint and someone was powerful enough to corrupt his mind. Whoever that person is then, he or she is strong", I said to the three people in the room.

"Did you already remove the corruption that his mind is under?", Makarov said to Porlyusica.

"It would take at least 4 - 5 days to remove the foreign energy in his system. The possession magic that he is under has been in his body for far too long. So, I need to be careful or I might damage his brain"

"Will the caster know that you've removed the possession spell?"

"Most likely", Porlyusica replied.

"The question is what to do with him once he's cured", Makarov said as he looks at me.

"Don't blame me, I couldn't just let Erza kill him. Ezra couldn't recover from doing something like that", I said to Master Makarov.

Makarov sighed and said, "Fine, you will remain in here and guard Jellal----"

"NO! You will guard outside, place a tent, or something. You are not allowed to stay in my house", Porlyusica said as she interrupted Master Makarov from his speech.

Makarov looks at her and then to me and said, "You will do what she says. While I will go and see what I can do for Sie-, I mean Jellal's future".
