Chapter Sixteen

The house of Wesley's is quite. I have been wondering what she's doing now but I can't feel her there. I haven't seen her the whole day because of the training I gave to the teens. The curtains of her room are close and the lights are off. Maybe Natasha knows where they are. So I went down stairs to the kitchen where my mother and sister are preparing for dinner.

'Tasha, you know where they are?' I asked her. She pouted and thinks.

'Keynes told me that they are going to visit their parents in the Blue Moon Kingdom. They will be there for one week I guess.'

'What!?' I furrow. That was too long! I can't bear of not seeing her for a week. I even tried to call her but nothing.

'You can't go there, you know.' She said.

'Why didn't Keynes invited you? You are his mate, should he introduce you to his parents?'

'Yes, about that, he told me that they are going there for some things... he didn't tell. It was confidential.'

'Why are they so secretive?' I asked leaning on the counter.

'You see, he was in a mission and everything is confidential. So no questions!' she hands up.

I just sighed and try to call her again but nothing. I try to call Keynes but nothing too. Then I call Harris and still nothing. Then last hope is Chase. It was ringing and he had answered.

'Yup?' he asked.

'Hey, are you with Zoë?'

'Yeah... why?'

'I need to talk to her.'

'Sorry, dude... she is in the meeting. Can't talk now.'

'Why? What meeting are you talking about?'

'Well, actually we are in dinner with ministers and lords. So just go away and contact me later!' then he was gone. Bullshit!

I woke up in the morning with the noise of those stupid boys. They keep jumping on my Queen Size four poster bed throwing cushions at each other. I don't know what time is it but I can feel that the sun is already up. I crinkled my nose as I scratch my eyes.

'Wake up Princess! We are going to town!' Chase shouts as he pulls the duvet. I kicked him and he falls on the floor, rolling. I stretch my arms and legs and attack Harris as we fall on the floor. They are my big brothers since we don't have any siblings.

We roll on the carpeted floor. Chase attacks me too from behind grappling my arms. Harris grapples my legs. I was wearing pajamas because I don't like sleeping dresses in my wardrobe. I use my strength to lose from them then I tackle Chase's arms and Harris stepped back taking pictures of us.

We stopped as the door opens. The servants' gapes and they curtsied at us. They have a diner cart with them. I stood releasing Chase. I sighed and stretch. Chase stood too and was about to attack me but I use the aikido style holding his wrist twisted it and he flips on the air and falls on the floor.

'Ow...' he grunted.

'Thank you for the little warm-up boys.' I told them. Gabriel just got into my room pointing at Chase who is struggling with pain.

'What happened to Chase?'

'I beat him.' I wink at him.

'You sound creepy!' he said walking to Veranda where the servants are preparing our breakfast. I sound creepy?

'Where's Keynes?' I asked them.

'He's with his family. He said that he can't accompany us because of the meetings that he will attend.'

'Busy man.' I murmur walking to the bathroom to wash my face and mouth. I tied my hair into a messy bun then I walk back to them.

I had changed my clothes into leather jeans, leather boots, and a white spaghetti blouse and leather coat. I put eyeliner around my eyes and mascara. I also put a pink lip gloss. The hunks boys with me are just wearing simple polo shirts and pants and converse shoes. We have been simply living our life since our parents' death. Gabriel's father and mother died too on the rogue attack. His father was a great Commander and he died protecting his King and Queen. His mother was our dress designer. She died protecting Gab.

We use bicycles in the town. It was exciting and we are going to enjoy the whole town. We race to the town. They are fast and I was just at their back trying to reach them. Of course, they are males and they are stronger than me.

'Wait up guys!' I stopped and they are far away from me. I breathe and acted that my heart is hurt so they have to come back to me and they did.

'Zoë, you okay?'

'What's wrong?'

'Should we go back?'

I smirked and I lifted my face. I use my telekinetic powers for their bikes to lay on the ground with them. Then, I paddle my bicycle as fast as I can.

'No fair!' they shout. I laugh at them and I am reaching the flower shop where our finish line is. I press the brake and twisted the handlebars and the back of my wheel leaves mark on the ground. I almost hit the cat.

'Hey, that was close...' I breathe and I pick up the cat. It was a grey and white Persian cat. The cat purrs but I patted her and he cuddles on me like a kitten. That was so sweet. 'Oww...' I admire the cat.

'Okay, you won again!' Harris stopped in front of my bike. He patted my head. 'Little Kitty!' he laughs at me. I looked at the girl at my age she smiled at me. She was wearing a flowery dress with a basket of flowers in her hand.

'Hi, is this your cat?' I asked her smiling.

'Yeah,'

'Sorry about it.'

'It's okay...' she stopped when she looked at my back. I turn at Harris who is mesmerized and back to the girl too. There's a spark in their eyes. They seemed so in love with each other. That was so touching! I smiled at them as they just stare at each other.

'Ah, should we celebrate?' Gabriel asked. I grimaced at him.

'Okay! Let's celebrate!' Chase kicks the stand of his bicycle and went to the girl. She blinks her eyes and looked away from Harris. I looked at Harris who is staring at her. 'Hi, Miss beautiful. I'm Chase.' He offers his hand. She giggles and took it. Chase kissed her knuckles.

'I'm Lily...'

I slapped Harris's arms for him to wake up. He kicked the stand of his bike and went to the girl. He pushed Chase away offering his hand to Lily. She smiled and took his hand.

'You are as beautiful as Lily,' Harris said dramatically. Like in a play. He loves using the simile.

'Thank you,' she flushes.

'I'm Harris, the one who is destined for you.' Ow! That was cheesy! He kissed the back of her hand.

'Cheesy!' Gab said laughing. I giggle on their scene.

'I have been searching for you...' she told him.

'I do too...' yeah, he sounds like Romeo.

'Hey, Romeo! Just asked her out!' Chase said teasing them.

'Lily!' a man calls. We looked at the hunk man with a scar on his cheek. He was familiar. The man stopped when he met my eyes. I smiled at him and waves.

'You must be Lily's father?' I asked him. He nods his head. He walks in front of me and was about to kneel his knee. He noticed me! 'Please... no!' I told him and Chase had held his arm. I look around us and some people did notice us.

'Papá...' Lily calls. Chase's mind links him and he nods at him. Her father faced her. 'This is Harris, that's Chase... and...' she looked at me.

'I'm Zoë Wesley...' I told her. She smiles.

'And I'm Gabriel!' Gab waves.

'Pardon me, but my daughter and I have to go. It was her mother's death anniversary.' He said with sorrow. I can feel his heartbreaks and pain on my chest.

'It's okay, Mister.'

'I'm Herald,' he nods at me.

'Sure, Herald.'

'Just follow me to the car, Lily.' Her father told her. Lily nods at him.

'When can we meet again?' Harris asked. 'What about tonight?' he never let go of her hand.

'I'm sorry, Harris... but I have to be at our house at night.' He felt suddenly sad.

'Okay, then call me.' He pulls his calling card from his pocket giving it to her.

'I will.' She smiles. I gave the cat to her. She walks away from us and gave another glance to Harris.

'It's okay Romeo...' Gabriel patted his shoulder. I removed the cat's hair from my jacket and clapped my hands. I sneeze and sneeze! Chase gave me a handkerchief.

'You're not allergic to cat aren't you?'

'No! I am an Enchantress... I love cats and animals.'

'Not all Enchantress love cats.' Gab said. I sneeze again.

'I know, I just said that I am an Enchantress and I love cats.'

We enter some stores and checking a few things. I was mesmerized by the crossbow that is newly designed. I looked at it walking to it. It was beautiful and the wood that has made is beautiful and strong. I can feel that it was made with love. I touch the bow. It was perfect. Then the arrows are made in silver.

'It was for the Princess...' the man said as he stood beside me his hands at his back.

'Really?'

'Yes, I was the one who always made her crossbows when her father taught her how to handle it.' He was familiar and he has crinkles on his eyes. I remember him. It was Gerald. One of my father's close friends. He always made wooden trains and cars and dolls for my friends.

'You made that for the Princess?' I asked him. He nods looking into my eyes. I folded my arms looking back on the man. 'You are not selling it?'

'Yes, it was for display.'

'What if I buy it?' I wink at him. He chuckled staring at the bow.

'There's no way... it's for the Princess.'

'Then, it's free?' I asked him grinning.

'Yes, it's free for you, your highness.' He did recognize me. I shriek and hugged him.

'Gerald!'

'Zoë... attitude.' Keynes speaks who just appeared from nowhere. I stepped back from Mr. Gerald and put my hands at my back shyly. He kneels one knee in front of me. There are no costumers except us.

'Welcome back Princess.' He said with his hand on his heart bowing his head.

'Thank you, but no need for that.' He stands and smiles.

'I am here to get other things.' Keynes said.

'Yes, Mr. Wesley.' He nods at him.

'So, why are you here? What are you going to get?'

'I am going to get the weapons to train the New Moon pack.'

'Oh...' I smiled at him.

'Princess, what did I told you about the attitude? I know that I haven't taught you about it. But at least behave like one.'

'Yes, Sir!' I saluted him.
