South River Pack
If you told me two years ago that i would be living among werewolves, i would have called you an idiot, even a lunatic. I would have said there is no such thing as werewolves but here i am working at a diner that is owned by one.
My name is Zebrine Alister, i am a 5.4ft with dark blue eyes, dark chocolate skin colour, i have weird curly hair and i am a size eighteen. My mother on the other hand, has a body of a goddess, at least that is what Boris who is her mate tells her everyday. She has the same skin as mine but her hair is flawless with curves for days. I admired her body, she always tells me i am beautiful too but i trust what i see in the mirror which is a plus sized woman who needs to work hard to be able to move out of her mother's house. My mother and Boris need time to themselves especially the consummating part. I have seen things that are still traumatising me to date. In the beginning i though he was going overboard but after getting a job at The Claws diner and meeting Jennifer who was a werewolf. I changed my mind. She helped me understand why Boris was behaving that way with my Mum and finally understood why my mother was also behaving the way she was.
"Good morning Boss!", i said cheerfully as i entered the diner only to discover there was a pack meeting that i knew nothing about. "Good morning my dear, come sit", his wife said making me run to sit next to her. "As i was saying, Alpha Knox returns today from his training and we need to be prepared to welcome him, we will all meet him at the town hall in which we will have a feast to celebrate his return. Does everyone know what they are supposed to do?", Beta Cade asked and everyone was nodding their heads. I had no idea what a feast meant because we never had one ever since we joined the Pack, although i knew about the Alpha going away for training. The thing is the South River Pack was the second largest in the world so everything that happened here seemed to be a big deal to the rest of the Packs. "Zeb dear, we are in-charge of the catering part of the event so we need to make sure all the supplies are available for the Chef ok?", Mr. Russel instructed and i went right on with the stock taking as the rest of the staff were given other tasks. "Now i wish i hadn't met my mate yet, that way i would have been prepping myself for the Alpha like the rest of the unmated females", Jennifer said sadly making me laugh. I knew her mate. Victor, he was part of the warriors, i met him a couple of times when he came home with Boris. They seemed close, may be because they were working together but then again that was far beyond the point. Jennifer was mated. "What is the big deal about him anyways?", i asked curiously. Most of the humans in the pack were more on the less important part so i couldn't share the excitement. "Well he is the most sexiest man to ever walk this pack and powerful as well. Imagine how powerful the Luna will be to have a man like him wrapped around her fingers", she said clearly day dreaming. "Does Victor know about your obsession over the Alpha?", i teased making her roll her eyes at me. "For your information he does not and i would appreciate if you keep that to yourself", she said walking away swaying her hips.
The crowd cheered as men in black suits entered the town hall standing attention on the right and left side of the room. "Zeb come help me with the plates dear, hurry!", Mr. Russel called and i rushed to him even though for some reason i wanted to see him, Alpha Knox entering the hall. "I gotta say Victor looks so hot in his suit", Jennifer said fanning her face with the palm of her hand making me giggle. I was turning to see the so called hot mate when i met a pair of glowing ice blue eyes that made me let go of the plates that i was carefully putting on the buffet table in a thud. "Goddess child be careful with those", Mr. Russel shouted from behind me but i couldn't look away. I heard gasps from everyone around me as the man in front of me smiled, showing off his amazing dimples. He was suddenly right next to me in a blink of an eye making me shout in surprise. His nose was buried in my neck in seconds followed by a humming sound of approval. "You were so worth the wait", he whispered to me then kissed my neck, my body shivered as i felt the sparks that Jennifer always talked about. "What is your name mate?", he asked looking right into my eyes as if reading my soul, it was the best feeling in the world. This must be how my mother felt, no wonder she was addicted to Boris. The mate bond feels incredible, i was captured by his amazing eyes that i forgot he asked me something. Jennifer had to pinch me, "What?", i asked her looking away from the stranger's gaze. "He asked you about your name", she whispered. "Oh! Am Zebrine, but you can call me Zeb, everyone does", i said nervously and her replied with a smile. He gave me a once of look clearly checking me out hungrily then pulled me to his chest smelling me again. "Well Zeb, it's a pleasure to meet you. Am Alpha Knox but to you am Aiden", he replied with a wink. The way he said my name made me feel like i went to the moon and got back in a minute. It was the best moment of my life. He pulled me to the dancing floor the moment the music started and we danced the night away with me being by his side the whole time. Jennifer got a chance to slip in some sex advise telling me to keep my mind open because werewolves didn't have the same patience as human. It scared the crap out of me that Aiden noticed. "Are you ok Zeb?", he asked me looking slightly nervous. "Yes, It's just a lot to process", i said releasing a breath.
