"What do you want to do next?"

Ethan thought about it and said, "Even though my grade is now D, but the level is still E, so I am thinking of staying home and cultivating for a period of time." Hearing this, the system became speechless.

"Do you even know how much time it takes to go from level E to level D while your grade is still D?" the system asked in a flustered voice.

It was about a competition that would be held in Star City three months later. All supernatural beings aged between 18 to 25 could participate in this competition. It would be held outside the city wall near Gate 7.

Now, the world's structure is different from before. Now, all around the federation, only cities can be seen with high city walls, and all of them are divided into levels.

Just like Star City, which is a level 6 city. And the highest level city is level 1, or you can say it's a capital where you can find the Super Association and Federation headquarters.

As Ethan was paying attention to the news, the system spoke up again. "Are you interested in this competition?"

"Kinda. If I can win or come in the top 10, then I can get rewards as well. But one thing I didn't say, I want to slap those slum people in the face when they find out about my power." He chuckled. Just thinking about it made Ethan smile from ear to ear.

"I think it's a good idea. Only by fighting can you get the hang of your power more naturally. But before that, work hard and try to increase your grade and levels."

"Okay, I will talk about it tomorrow. For now, good night." Closing his eyes, Ethan fell into a deep sleep in a second.

Actually, Ethan wasn't his original host. His host was on the other side of the dimension.

When he first descended, it was just a normal system without any way to communicate with his host. His previous host was also a human with a soft heart, and that was his only weakness. Other than that, he was perfect, and his name was Jack.

The world on the other side was a fantasy world with multiple races living together, like humans, elves, orcs, etc.

His previous host was strong but not strong enough to save his world.

When those demons started pouring into his world, he gathered everyone to fight alongside him. But that was not enough to force them back. And ten years ago, a black hole created by the enemy engulfed more than 90% of the population, leaving behind Jack and some fortunate people, but they also didn't live long.

A month ago, a final battle began between demons and the last of the resistance army. With their defeat, the battle came to an end.

As for Jack, who wanted to kill as many demons as possible before he died, he blew himself up. Because of that, the demons suffered for the first time.

Even though Jack died like a hero, his system was able to survive but somehow mutated along the way. After the mutation, even though he was not as strong as before, he somehow gained the power to evolve himself and able to speak.

After a month of traveling on this familiar and unfamiliar planet, the system found a small crack in space and found his way towards Ethan. Because of losing too much energy, the system had to choose a host, and by coincidence, Ethan was right in front of him.

Remembering everything made the system feel quite sad and remember Jack's promise to give him a biological body so that he could also feel the happiness and sadness of living beings.

While thinking of Ethan, the system muttered to himself, "I hope that for your world and my revenge, you can become as strong as possible. We don't have much time left."
