CHAPTER SIXTEEN

"Did she come to you?" he asked and she looked away from him

"who, what do you mean?" she said but Alex could see through those eyes of her's that she was lying. when he asked her about Sarah, he immediately got the idea of what was wrong with her and she had said she doesn't want to bother him and he looked at her with worry, he knew Sarah would end up finding out but he had never thought she would this soon. "Josephine stop avoiding my gaze, look at me and talk to me" he said and she slowly looked at him. "you don't have to hide it, tell me, did she come to you?" he asked and she nodded her head

"really, how wise of her" he said , sarcasm in his voice and seconds later, he chuckled.

"did she hurt you?"

"no" she whispered and he nodded his head.

"what did she say to you"

"what a jealous woman would say"

"let's go back, I will walk you home"

"but the garden" she said and frowned

"it can wait, we can always go another time, how about tomorrow"he said

"what are you planning to do Alex?" she asked, a hint of concern in her voice

"don't bother yourself with that,come let's go" he said and she followed her and they headed back to the supermarket.Alex did not say a word to her till they reached her place, neither did she. "Be safe" he said to her and she walked into the compound before he left.

He drove home angrily, wishing he could go see Sarah so he can teach her some lessons, that nasty lady doesn't know him at all, she has only seen the soft part of him that's why she keeps Crossing her limit,he wished she was leaving alone and he would have gone to her place but lucky her, she stayed with her parent,how fortunate, he thought.

He got to his mansion and walked in and halted his steps, when he saw something that he wasn't expecting to see. With his mouth agape, he stared at the woman who sat on the couch with her leg crossed."Sarah, how did you get in?" he asked

"I have my ways"

"I should call the police and inform them that an unwanted guest broke into my house"

"am not unwanted"

"am sorry to say but you are more than unwanted"

"did you have fun with your woman?" she asked and a smirk appeared on her face

"very much, I did,l had a lot of fun, want me to tell you about it" he said said and she clenched her hands into a fist

"watch your actions Alex, am watching you"

"I should be the one telling you that Sarah, you need to know your limit and learn not to cross it and I will teach you to not cross your boundary"

"my limit, what limit, I only tried to keep a slave girl away from my man"

"you are the one who should stay away from her man" he said and she stood on her feet angrily,

"what did you say, her man, you are really in love with that thing"

"address her as a thing again and I will deal with you" he said and sat on the couch

"quiet" he yelled and she shrieked with fear, "If you go see her again,I won't spare you"

"your threats won't move me, I will deal with her"

"and I will finish you"

"what will you do,beat me" she said and moved closer to him, "you can as well start now"

"it would be a waste of time to hit you Sarah, get out of my house"

"I won't, I will stay here tonight" she said and sat back on the couch

"it looks like you really want to get beaten this night, I don't hit women but trust me if you push me to the wall this night, I will beat you up

"go ahead, am all yours, do whatever you like"

",you are not mine and you would never be"

"then who do you belong to, Josephine, a college dropout and sales girl from a poor background" she said and smirked

"that girl is everything you aren't and you will never be, now get out" he said and stood from his seat walking towards her, he said, "you are wasting my time"

"I won't leave" she said adamantly

"alright" he said and pulled her up by her wrist and she screamed

"are you crazy" she yelled, "let me go" she said and hit his chest with her free hand. He carried her bag and began to drag her to the entrance and she struggled with him, yelling and hitting him with her free hands but he was more powerful than her, her little slap and punch didn't affect him a bit and he kept dragging her until he got to the entrance and he pushed her out and threw her back at her and shut the door to her face.

"Alex, Alexandra" she yelled but he didn't open the door and she began to sob quietly, " every word that came out of his lips that she so desired to kiss hurt her to her bone, was it a crime that she loved him ,she thought and hastily wipe her tears when she heard footsteps behind her. "Are you okay ma'am" Drake said to her back and she nodded

"let's go" she said trying to hide her tears and she walked away. Drake stood there for some seconds staring at the close door, he wished he could go in and strangle Alex to death, he had saw him push her out and throw her back at her and it hurt him. It hurt him more that he couldn't do anything when the woman he loves was been treated that way and that bastard even made her cry, he clenched his hands into a fist and left to join his boss and he drove her home in silence, none of them spoke a word.
