Training

The boys are late. Ashilynn sighed. It's already 6 am. They are going to hate her tomorrow as they are going to be beyond sore. After making herself some scrambled eggs and toast Ashilynn heads outside to go next door to wake the boys up.

As she starts to walk next door she notices her Uncle Uriel approaching the steps of his beloved. An idea pops into her head. One she knows he would begrudgingly oblige to. After all she is his favorite and only niece. She hesitates for a second before calling out to him.

"Uncle!"

His head whips around to face her. "Ashilynn darling, how's life."

"It would be better if these boys had started their training on time today. I need you to wake them up for me. Loudly, I might add. Can you help me let them know that they are in some serious trouble when I see them?"

Uriel Laughs. "Will do little one. Will do." Walking inside he gives Ashilynn a sly smile before walking inside less than 5 minutes later the boys run out of the house with horrified expressions on their faces.

Ashilynn laughs and rolls her eyes at them. "You boys look like you have seen a ghost."

The boys just nod and wipe their still sleepy eyes.

She smiles. "What did they kiss in front of you two? Or are you pansies and can't handle the sound of a bugle in the morning? Or maybe... it's both."

Ashilynn laughs. "Get your dumb selves into my house right now. You are an hour and a half late already, that adds 4 hours to your training time. Disobey me one more time and you will add another 2 hours. Now go."

Ashilynn puts her hands on her hips and points to the house. The boys bow their heads in shame and head inside her temporary home. Once inside the house Ashilynn heads straight to the training room with the boys behind her. A mechanical voice is yet again heard.

"Welcome, what mode would you like to choose today?" The very female, very British voice says over the speaker. Her mother's voice. Not that she would tell the boys that at least not anytime soon. The pain and hatred is still too raw.

"Nightmare mode. Avoid me entirely and focus solely on the boys. This is an assessment. I would like a printed report for both male angels once it is over. Thank you!"

"Boy's speak your name and age as it will help her know who you are in the future. Get used to the voice. It is your new best friend. As your trainer and commander at arms I alone will be in charge of your training. Get used to it boys because I will not go easy on you."

Ashilynn hands both men a sword and steps off to the side of the room. The scenery this time is of their current address. Preparation is key in this case. The sights set before them by the machine are pretty bleak.

Death permeates the street in front of them. The scent and smell is overpowering for the boys. So much so that at first they both gag. Daniel even throws up. Angels and demons appear before the boys and the battle starts.

It's hard to watch at first, both boys stumble around quite a bit but after a while both men start to get used to their swords and their aim becomes a little better. Ash is suddenly very glad that she had chosen to raid her fathers closet for a set of swords. He said they were what he learned but they seem to be tailor made for both the boys so she may have to ask him about it later.

Ash watches as they slowly start to get faster and more confident. She doesn't have to worry about them being aware of their surroundings at all and for that she is thankful.

Daniel easily side steps several demons before plunging through them like they were made of glass.

Jace figures out how his wings work and quickly flies out of the way as a demon attempts to run through him from the side. Right before the battle is about to end Ashilynn speaks up Smirking at the boys.

"Lucy, Ultra long mode please. Oh and change the mode to full on battle mode," she says before exiting the room and locking the door behind her. It'll take them at least 5 more hours to finish the testing now, if not 6. She smiles to herself. They deserve it for being late.

Ashilynn heads first to the kitchen to finish eating her breakfast and then walks to her room to get changed.

She decides on a fingertip length green dress, heeled green boats, and a ponytail with her pendant of armor. Grabbing her sword she heads back to the training room and unlocks the door. Heading inside she walks to the left hand wall and clicks on a tile. A room opens up from behind the wall and Ashilynn slips inside. The voice from her past speaks up asking her yet again for a mode. Again she chooses nightmare mode but this time gives the command for the hour long session and a stats list for herself as well.

It starts like before, in her hometown filled with destruction and chaos, and goes on for what feels like hours to her. Somehow though, towards the end of her training session, Ashilynn speaks to ask the machine to put Tanner in as her final opponent.

She fights harder than she ever has before. Harder than she ever thought possible. Anticipating that moment when the computer would put the face of her former best friend in front of her. Yet she is still unprepared when she sees him appear.

His pale skin glows in the darkness. His muscles ripple and he smirks. "You wanted to play baby girl?" he says in a sickly sweet yet extremely sex laced way, "then lets play, but I guarantee you will lose."
