Dragon's fire. Part five.

Feeling intense pain in his chest, Longwei unable to breath was trying to hold on to the ice. But without knowing how to swim his legs immediately went numb out of freezing water. But still moving with his hands chaotically he saw someone's figure behind the ice. He opened his mouth and the thud sound came out. Trying to be conscious he opened his eyes wide and the next what he saw was the light of fire.

And then pain and nothingness.

"Father is that you? Father?! Wait! Wait for me!"

Opening his eyes in terror he finally came back to senses. And all he could feel first was the headache and numbness in his fingers and feet. Unable to move he raised his head a little and then looked at his own body. The fur coat was covering him.

Looking around he noticed a fire. The flames were harmonically dancing on the weak wind. Noticing that he was already in that cave he understood that he is not dead. After a few minutes when his body gained it's usual temperature he could feel something very warm, almost hot close to his both sides. These were stones with dragon's fire.

Lying back to the small pillow he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. The ugly beast was still standing before his eyes. It's long hands, long fingers and such a horrifying red eyes made him shiver and in the same time feel raged. "But I killed it." he thought and the smile of satisfaction appeared on his pale face.

"You're finally awake." Lei's voice was heard from the darkness.

"Lei?"

Approaching him, Lei looked at him and then reaching out his cold hand he touched Longwei's forehead which made him tremble.

"Your hands are cold." He murmured and moved his head aside.

Without saying anything Lei sat beside him. Unbuttoning his shirt a little, he placed a small piece of material on his chest and leaned back to the wall. After a seconds the material soaked in blood. Noticing this Longwei tried to sit up but feeling weak, he just asked, "Are you alright?"

"Yes. This is just a scratch."

Looking to the ceiling Longwei hesitated and then asked, "Is that you who brought me here?"

"Yes."

"Thank you." Feeling like this wasn't what he should have said he just closed his eyes and pretended like he was sleepy.

The sounds of fire were affecting him soothingly. His eyelids became heavy and the moment when he was about to fall asleep he suddenly felt something heavy on himself.

Lei, pressing him to the floor was on top of him. Looking very angry and furiously his black big eyes were glimmering with the light of fire.

"What are you doing?" Longwei tried to push him aside but Lei with all his strength almost was choking him.

He bent his head lower and almost shoutingly said, "What were you thinking about? What were you doing there? You bastard!"

Clutching his wrists he pressed him downwards even harder. "Are you stupid or what? You almost died! If not me this beast would have killed you!"

Longwei lifted his leg and wanted to kick him aside but Lei was much stronger than him.

"Lei stop it! Let me go! Lei!"

Turning into a beast himself Lei's face became red, his thick brows tensed and his breath became heavy.

Longwei feeling something not good tried to calm him down. "Lei calm down. Lei, listen to me. I am sorry. Okay? Lei!"

Breathing loudly Lei slowly lowered his head. Longwei almost felt his lashes and the tips of their noses touched each other.

Shivering, Longwei's heart was beating like mad.

But what he felt wasn't fear or anything else. What he felt was, strangely enough, excitement.

Quietly whispering, "I am sorry" he looked at Lei's eyes which had a strange emotions now.

Their breaths collided and slowly the tickling sensation ran over his body.

Pressing his lips to Longwei's upper lip Lei froze in such a position.

The stones with fire were making their body sweat. Longwei feeling goosebumps on his skin wanted to move his head aside but Lei, with his cold fingers touched his chin and the next moment his lips were smoothly colliding with Longwei's upper lip.

"Brother are you here?"

Lei quickly stopped and covered Longwei with his fur coat. "I am here."

Approaching them, Dewei looked at Longwei, the terror was in his eyes. "Are you crazy? Why did you went out? What if it would have killed you? I shouldn't have brought you with me. Brother, it is my fault. I am sorry. I have risked your student's life."

Lei without changing his serious expression as if nothing happened said, "Brother, tomorrow we will go back. So let me help you to pack things."

Dewei cast another glance at Longwei and went away.

Lei sat beside him and lowered his head until his lips touched Longwei's ear.

"I am gonna continue to show my madness next time."
