Welcome to Equilibrium

Across the expanse of the universe, a wave containing dark-purple particles kept on moving, causing panic and raising the alarms of more species as every lifeform suddenly flinched with it's passing until it reached the edge of the universe and like ink dripping into water, it hit an invisible wall and caused massive ripples before completely disippating, but not before it left behind multiple ruptures the size of a needle on the barrier.

This would act as a spark to the beginning of a universe-wide event

How? And in what form? that we do not know, but it won't be long now, as everything would soon spiral out of control because of a single being.

A fateless being.

With the advent of that sound, a fair skinned man appeared in a shabby apartment with no clothes at all.

Zephyr observed the room he had first woken up while contemplating on what to do next, before quickly finding an answer;

"Hmm, I should take a shower first" In truth, Zephyr hadn't taken a bath for a whole week, but who could blame him, it had been chaotic throughout the week. 

Heck, even commoners hadn't been able to take a bath as they were quarantined in bunkers until hunters could repair the damage the aliens caused to some extent.

Thinking along these lines, Zephyr wondered why his house hadn't been completely wrecked, he felt somehow grateful that the apartment hadn't been blown to bits, but still….he couldn't help but be curious.

In the end, he attributed it to his luck.

He was currently standing in front of a mirror after freshening up looking at his body which had changed since he became a unique existence.

He had grown a bit taller, now reaching 197cm, his muscles more firm and condensed, his face well chiseled, his hair pitch Black, with his right eye having changed the most.

The iris color turned to dark-purple, his pupils had turned into fairly large slits and an eerie glow identical to the void guardian's while the left eye's iris had become much darker, and that was all.

"Hmm, this won't do" he said as he observed the shabby apartment

"I need a new set of clothes, along with some other stuff" he said and then;

ZOOM!

He bolted out of his house and not long after;

SMASH!

He crashed into a building not too far from his house

"Ouch, that hurt" Zephyr said as he hadn't gotten accustomed to his new level of speed because he was teleporting with the help of Earth's core throughout the invasion.

(Un)fortunately, nobody had been around to see it because commoners were being quarantined in underground bunkers while hunters were fixing damages but hadn't gotten to the outskirts of City T.

"Ah, it's seems luck is on my side" he said as he noticed an abandoned boutique just across the street and walked to it, slowly and carefully

"Yep, that felt good" Zephyr said while walking out of the boutique putting on black trousers and shirt with a long black jacket on top while several other clothes were piled up on his shoulder.

"Now to look for food" he said he began to look for any nearby supermarket, but before he could even spot one a voice different from Xenon's rang out in his head;

[Scan complete]

[Teleporting all players….now]

Zephyr, along with many other people across the Galaxy suddenly vanished Into thin air

               ~Zephyr's POV~

"Woah" I said as I found myself in a completely white space, and not a moment too soon;

WAP!WAP!WAP!WAP!WAP!WAP!WAP! WAP!WAP!

Nine more people suddenly appeared simultaneously, seven men and two women all in different types of armour as they looked around with shock apparent on their faces.

There were all popular hunters on earth. I knew because the former zephyr had been a fan of some of them, there was also someone I recognized from the alien invasion.

Andrew Stein or Zolton for short was also among them with his Mohawk styled hair, dressed in blue shining armor and gauntlets with runic marks on them as lightning danced around his body like an electric fish.

Kang-soo Jin, a slender looking man with neatly trimmed hair wearing a red-colored samurai looking armor and two swords on his back, 

Fredrick Zibal, a short man with short black hair wearing tight fitting Black clothes with daggers attached to it and lastly;

Gabriel Martinez, a man with long golden-colored hair wearing shining yellow armor with a sword attached to his waist.

These three are also renowned L rank hunters alongside Zolton.

Apart from them, there were three other men and two women all at SS rank.

"Does anyone know what we are?" Gabriel asked as the others shook their heads before Zibal suddenly pointed a dagger at me asking;

"You, who are you? I don't recognize you" he said, bringing everyone's attention to me, but I casually ignored it, which caused everyone to be on guard against me,  the atmosphere becoming more tense by the minute as everyone became still, both waiting for the other to make the first move.

(Un)fortunately, a voice resounded at this minute saying;

 "Ladies and gentlemen, please put those weapons away, you'll get the chance to fight to your heart's content soon enough" We looked in the direction it came from only to find a stunning looking woman approaching us.

She had long black silky hair reaching her shoulders with pale skin wearing long red robes and an unhealthy amount of cleavage.

"Hey, who are you?" Zibal quickly asked, to which she replied, 

"You can call me Gaia, I am, let's see...to put in layman's terms the "AI" that watches over all that happens in Equilibrium, and this is just me taking on a human body.

"What's Equilibrium?" This time it was Gabriel who asked a question, to which she promptly replied;

"Equilibrium is many things actually, this time though, it is a place in the system space that is far bigger than your puny galaxy, in other words 'another universe' if that explains better, though it's not as big as a universe, it is something beyond your tiny brains can imagine" she said, letting everyone digest the meaning of those words before continuing;

"It is a place filled with different races with different goals, a place with wonderful treasures along with equal amounts of danger, a place where the strong devour the weak, but also a place the weak can also devour the strong"

"What does that mean?" Asked Gabriel, to which she replied;

"Patience, you will find out soon enough" seeing that she wouldn't answer that question, he asked another;

"Then why are we here?" 

"Oh, that's easy, it's because you're strong, why else would I choose you over the rest on your planet?"

"Hmm" said Gabriel as he took in those words, the strongest on their planet had been chosen but;

He immediately looked at me while frowning his eyebrow, most likely because Gaia had confirmed us to be the strongest on the planet, yet he had never heard about me before, but after that I'm not sure what else he's thinking.

"Oh, yes before I forget, here's your starter pack" she said as she tossed a small ring to each of us.

"Those contain basic information you all need to know, also, say status" which I did and a blue skin appeared right in front of me, but it was glitching seriously.

 I couldn't even make out the words, so I called someone who had been quiet all this time;

"Xenon, do you know what's happening?" 

To which a reply came a moment later;

[Yes I do]

"And?"

[I'm working on it, give me a minute] 

I could only sigh internally as I remember my interface having the problem when I first reincarnated, things would work-out this time...I hope…"

I acted like nothing was wrong so as not to raise any further suspicions, though it seemed Gaia was onto me because her eyes were looking in my direction, before turning away.

"Now that's over, I greet you fellow players once again;

"Welcome to Equilibrium"

"Have a safe trip and of course, try not to die"

WAAAAAAAAAAP!!!

We were teleported away before anyone could ask what she meant by those words.
