Ryoichi walks over to Kaneda being held on Captain Kihara's shoulder. She bends over and speaks to the Captain's face to face. "So how was getting beaten up Captain Kaneda." "SIGH. I don't wanna hear nothing from you Nozomi" the exhausted captain exclaims. Ryoichi moves in closer "When you address me say Captain Ryoichi or Head Captain got it, Captain Kaneda." "Yes Yes. Head Captain I heard you. It's all because I'm always already tired from my previous battle right now I would be-"
"ENOUGH," the Head Captain says in a demanding voice.
The two other Captains present remain silent during this conversation as adding their two cents to it would only make matters worse. "You. You are still the same Kaneda. Nothing changed about you." "I could say the same about you. You've changed so much. Ever since that incident 10 years ago-

Jericho comes rushing out of the palace "Pacific Mage Association."
"Greetings Knight what is your name?" Ryoichi asks.
"I am Jericho the Knight to her majesty Princess Emilia Emeraldo"
"Knight Jericho would you mind taking in Captain Kaneda here to your medical area" Ryoichi says in a nice manner.
"Yes of course" Jericho responds obeying the orders given to him.
"Oof here you are," Sho says.

"Captain Kaneda we shall discuss our plans later. We hope for you to join us" Itsuki says.
Kaneda remains silent as he glares at the Head Captain Ryoichi.
"Well, things got a little heated" Sho remarks.
"He's probably feeling fatigued from battling the whole day," Itsuki says.
The Head Captain remains silent shrouded in her thoughts.
As the light begins to fade twilight draws near.
"Captain Ryoichi we should head inside"
"Yes it may get chilly"
"Right," Ryoichi says as she marches forward and past the two captains who follow her shortly.
"Why is it always like that between those two?" She whispers to Itsuki.
"A major part of it is because of the incident 10 years ago" Itsuki used a soft and calm voice.
"Can you please make haste" Ryoichi demands.
"Yes," the two respond awkwardly smiling at one another as all three enter the palace.

The six virtues are all in the palace's infirmary as they are waiting by Everetts's bedside. Multiple beds lined up around 6 within the room. The 2 blinds were closed on two beds one being Everetts bead as the Virtues wanted privacy.
"He almost lost an arm, because he was trying to protect me, Is it because of me that he lost his arm?" Mae says in a dreadful voice.
"Mae don't say that he did what he did to protect you," June says.
"I can see why the Virtue of Courage was bestowed to him, it was an awful sight seeing him in that state but still willing to fulfill his mission and not banking down," Alice says.
"I see. I gotta stop speaking so down. Am glad the rest of you are okay." Mae says.
"Well the three of us almost died today if it weren't for June's plan. " Chonsee remarks.
"That plan was made with the help of you too Chonsee. Plus Marx was the key to this" June says.
"Yeah, I almost got scorched by a lion that breathed fire and shot poison. Of course, I had to come in clutch. We did call our move again Geostorm. It was so sick" waving his arms in excitement as he told the story.
"Yes we could hear and feel your magical energies from the top of the Emerald Path what's left of it," Alice says.
"By the way Dillia and Alice how were you guys?" Chonsee asks.
"I was done with mine in no time," Alice says.
"Although I did have some trouble at first I was able to defeat our foe"
"What did you guys fight?" Marx wonders.
"These Revenant Harpie Sisters. Each had their own unique special abilities that once defeated would be passed down to the next."
"Wow that sounds cool but I think are opponents were tougher," Marx remarks.
"Besides that, I hope Mr. Kanedas Luitenenat is okay he took a beating from one of the Demon Lords," Alice says.
"He'll be alright" another voice heard as they made a ghost out of the blinds.
AHHH the six scream.
"Ah, why did you guys scream like that?
"Ah Mr Kaneda I mean Captain Kaneda," Chonsee says.
"No need to add honorifics am just simply our homeroom teacher" Kaneda reassures his students.
"Where were you?" June asks.
Kaneda opens the other bed's blinds as it has Sanada Tetsuo recovering in it. "I was checking on my lieutenant. He's recovering well. I know Everett will wake up too he has to."
"How about your injuries?" Mae asks.
"Oh I was done in mere minutes and I hooped right in here. As soon as I was in here they came rushing in with Everett then you guys came the blinds were closed." "Glad to see everyone is alright" as he looks down at Everett. "If only I were with them. Would things have changed" Kaneda thinks to himself.
"He will be okay. " June says comforting Mae. As the others show their concern for Everett.
"When he wakes up I heard the Head Captain wants to discuss something in the main room. Please head over as soon as when wake up. I suspect the Head Captain is doing her investigating and planning- Kaneda says. "Like she usually does," he says under his breathe.
"Well see you guys there" Kaneda closes the door and heads for the main room.
"Well should we wait for him?" Mae wonders.

In the main room, Princess Emilia sits on the throne with Jericho close by her side and discusses the aftermath with her butlers.
"No casualties princess but it did cause severe destruction to the homes and the City of Bellanoir"
"No worries our mages will work on it swiftly," says one of the butlers.
Captain Paige and Luitenent Cecilia wait for the others to arrive in the meeting room.
"I hope they're all okay," Paige thinks to herself.
"Captain, are you alright?"
"Yes Cecilia am fine"
"Alright just wondering 'cause you look like you're in deep thought are you worried about something? Captain Kaneda? The Virtues? What may happen next?"
"Wow, this girl is really perceptive," Paige thinks to herself.

The doors open.
Three figures walk in.
"Head Captain," Paige says.
Both Captain and Luitentnant bow and show respect.
"Captain Kihara and Captain Nagasawa greetings," Paige says.
"It's good to see you doing well Captain Paige," Sho says.
"You ok that's good," Itsuki says.
"Where are luitenants Miyamoto and Amasawa" Cecilia asks.
"They are guarding the base with Serenity currently but first we must talk Princess," Ryoichi says.
"Why is it that you haven't revealed your ability yet?
Emilia looks shocked.
"Why does it concern you"
"Am wondering because from my reports you did nothing to aid the mages at the top of the Emerald Path" Ryoichi says.
"It seems the enemy didn't really need you but one of the Virtues. What are you hiding from us? You know exactly where the Crystal of Life is, don't you?
Emilia looks at Ryoichi with a face of guilt.
"Princess no need to be rude or out of line but you must tell us all the details so we can prepare for what's to come." Ryoichi insists.

"We have found the location of the Crystal of Life," Greed says.
"Ah, we did am I going to be responsible for retrieving it this time? Since those guys weren't able to?" Gluttony questions.
"Yes, you and your dukes."
"Even with the overwhelming number of their forces, you should be fine"
"What of the Order of the 7?"
"Leave them be. It was unexpected that the Head Captain herself would join the battle" Pride says.
