The Villainess?
How did I get here? The last thing I remember was falling asleep after finishing the book: Trials Of Love. How did I become the villainess Camilla who has the same name as me? **************** Our female lead, Camilla used to be a very extrovert person who had many friends and was socially liked by everyone. However, after her parent's death, she was assigned to live with her Uncle and Aunt. Over time she slowly distances herself from her friends as she believes that she doesn't deserve happiness. She thought that she was the reason her parents died. Back then her parents died in a car accident when they were speeding toward the hospital where she was kept. On that very eventful morning, she had accidentally burnt her hand during food tech and was rushed straight towards the hospital. When her parents heard they too rushed over there hence they got into a car accident and eventually passed away. The only thing that would bring her happiness was that one book her parents left for her: Trials of love. It talked about a young boy named Damian who grew up in poverty but eventually became the grand duke of the Thedo empire. The Thedo empire was named after the first King founder of the empire. Damian grew to love his housekeeper's youngest daughter Eveline. The two had to go through many trials until they earned their happy ending... Of course with the occasional villainess ruining the happy pair. But who would've thought that our female lead ended up as the villainess? The character she hated the most. Camilla Rose Avery was the lost daughter of the present King and Queen. Camilla had been stolen when she was a year old by a maid. She was found by her older brother when he ran into her in an orphanage on one of his royal tours. Her love for Damian meant that she would try to kill Eveline. Because of her evil deed, she ended up being banished to the eastern empire when Damian became the grand duke. He married Eveline and then the story closed. Ella transmigrates into Camilla. However, there was still time to fix everything. She would be kind to Damian in the hope that he would remember her kindness in the future. Our female lead has decided to change her destiny so she tried very hard not to fall in love with Damian. However, the storyline seems to be changing. Chapter 83: Auction (3):
At the end of the auction, the knights had still not arrived. Perhaps they were hiding to catch the merchants in action. Brandon and Christopher followed me downstairs to take the 'items' and give me the money. As soon as we entered downstairs I noticed a lot of things. Such as the only light source was the candles from the side of the wall, the whole room was practically dark. The 'items' were in chained cages. One of the assistants handed me the keys of 10 people's cages and my face darkened. I mean even if they are lowly people they shouldn't be kept in cages like this right?
"The knights still haven't arrived," I mumbled to Brandon. "We have to give them time. Just act as if you are checking the 'items'," he explained as I nodded.
I took the key to one of the cages and walked towards that cage. They had the cage number on the back of the key. "Hey, you need to pay before collecting the 'items'," added one of the assistants as he rushed to block my way. "Move," I added whilst using a very harsh tone. "If, I don't check the 'items' how would I know if they have any germs or something like that? I do not want to get any illness from them," I explained whilst gesturing for Christopher to come towards me. "He is my mansion's doctor, he will check them for me. If I find out that these men have something wrong with them, then you guys are in for a treat," I threatened.
They moved out of the way and allowed me to do as I pleased. Christopher proceeded to ask all the males to come out of their cages and line up in a straight line. Apart from the tiny cloth covering their private parts, they practically had no clothes on. Well, some had really good bodies whilst others did not. They seemed to be the same age as Brandon. In the novel, they were only a few years older than Damian. Ryan and William haven't said anything this whole time. They seemed to be slowly watching me to ensure I was safe.
Christopher was taking a long time to check out the men. He even requested for the assistants to remove the chains on their legs. They agreed very unwillingly. I supposed they agreed on because we was the spending a lot of money at their auction today. Christopher had finished 'checking' every male. What to do now?
There was nothing to do. I gave everyone a look and began dashing towards the door. The assistant must have noticed what I wanted to do as he called a lot of people to surround us. We were surrounded in a circle. All of us were standing on one side facing an opponent.
"Whatever happens next, remember we all must protect Camilla understand?" shouted Brandon as they all chroused "Yes,". Well, I'm feeling a little offended. I'm not really that much of a weakling. I could take care of myself. "I'm not that much of a weakling. I can protect myself, after all the place I grew up wasn't a greenhouse," I shouted in disagreement. I wasn't wrong. Both the original Camilla and myself were really good fighters. "Ok, just don't get hurt," added William as I nodded.
Our opponents all had daggers in their hands. "Are you guys ready?" I asked as everyone voiced their agreement. I was about to say fight, however, our opponents spoke up. "Who the hell are you?" they asked. We all took our hoods off and showed them our real identity. The formula was starting to wear off. The physical distinction of the royal family was coming back to me and my dearest brothers.
"Golden hair and golden eyes," shouted one person. Ahh, they must have recognised us. I mean we weren't exactly unpopular. "No way. Why would the members of the royal family be here?" another said. "What exactly is your relationship with the King and Queen," someone said.
"Guys, just hold on for 5 minutes, I have sent a message and our location to Mum and Dad. They should be here soon," explained Christopher as we all nodded. "You guys talk too much, let's just fight," shouted William as we all ran towards the opponents to begin our fight.
