Prime's voice rang in her ear; it had been a while since she left his room. After telling her some of the instructions and even giving her some basic knowledge, he ended the suppression of her Spirit Shackles and made Zenesha leave the room.

This time, she didn't know when she could talk to him again. She might already know the method, but controlling them still requires time. And her time was limited, but even with the urgency that she was feeling, she didn't dare to control the Spirit Shackles right away.

Her intuition told her that if she indeed controlled them because she was in a hurry, something really bad would happen to her. Zenesha still believed in her instincts of danger, and with Prime's expressions, she vaguely understood that controlling these threads was extremely difficult, even with Prime weakening them.

She only needed to try after she was alone in the room. It gave her the impression that if she was in her room, she was free from the prying eyes of the outside world and was free to do anything she wanted. Of course, that could also be an illusion as well, and it needed more evidence to be proven.

Fortunately, Zenesha was still alone, and her day was relatively dull. No spawns of hell had come to approach her. Hopefully, those guys would be distracted and busy for a few days or even weeks to not occupy her thoughts.

It was finally night again, and she had this room all to herself again. She sat up in the bed and pondered the method and knowledge that Prime had told her earlier.

He said that to control these threads, she had to master the abilities of the Wolf Queen or the white wolf first. And while the novel didn't dabble too much with the fantasy element of the book, Zenesha still knew some basics about it.

As the white wolf and said to be the direct descendant of the Moon goddess, Wolf Queens had abilities related to the Moon domain. Unlike the moon saintesses, who only have a superficial knowledge of the moon, Wolf Queens' already had their abilities at birth and only needed to practice them until mastery.

In this case, Zenesha was extremely adept at moonlight magic and even anything related to the Moon Domain. She also vaguely recalled that one of her stronger abilities was borrowing some of the power of the Moon Goddess herself. In the first place, as a direct descendant of the Moon Goddess, she already had what it took to be a descent vessel of the Moon Goddess.

Zenesha could even prove that the reason for the Wolf Queen's existence was to be her descent vessel in the material world. However, this couldn't be delved into deeper, as the novel never mentioned this. It might be said that the settings and background were superficially made, and the original author only focused on the romance and suffering aspects.

Since that was the case, she really didn't have any knowledge about how to control her powers or be aware of their extent. It was like a fool who had a powerful ability but didn't know how to use it, so he still remained a fool in the end.

She got up from the bed and then walked until she reached the boundary of the room and the balcony. The moon outside shone and basked her with the moonlight's warmth, as though she could recognize her as 'Her' child.

She remained motionless and enjoyed the comfortable warmth of moonlight as her gaze fixed on the outside. Zenesha wasn't unfamiliar with this feeling, as for her over three months in this world, she was bathed in the same moonlight every night.

Before, she thought that it was only the pure Zenesha's quirks and character that explained why she loved to bathe in the moonlight. However, now that she had already been given knowledge about this power, she already got the idea that basking in the moonlight was extremely beneficial for her.

It not only increased her magical power and perception of the moon, but it also gave her a sense of being able to 'see' through the Spirit Shackles, or in a way, her soul entirely.

She moved her right hand and glanced at it while doing the basic control that Prime had taught her. Zenesha concentrated her mind on her hand and then on the moonlight around her to perceive the elements before pouring them into the tips of her fingers.

As expected, her perception of the moon was extremely high, and in that instant, Zenesha had the impression that the elements converged and gathered with her intention. However, before she could manage to gather them on the tips of her fingers, they immediately dissolved.

Zenesha exhaled and weakly put down her arm, as though she were extremely exhausted after her action. It didn't even take a second before her concentration stopped.

She took a deep breath and blinked while massaging her right hand, which suddenly became numb.

"Sure enough, I'm not used to it," she mumbled. She wasn't disappointed that she didn't succeed on her first try. Zenesha already expected this outcome.

In fact, rather than being disappointed, her curiosity had been satisfied, as a delighted glint flashed across her blue eyes. In that short second, it gave her a sensation that she didn't even feel in her real world.

It was the feeling of experiencing something foreign and magical. Now, she could already say that those movies she watched were true. For an ordinary person to suddenly have a taste of power, it was only a matter of time before ambition influenced them.

However, it was only a moment. Zenesha's situation had made her grounded. She knew that this power wasn't her own and that even if she had the most powerful ability in this world, this couldn't change the fact that her destiny was already sealed the moment she was imprisoned in this body.

"Not enough," she again muttered in the silence, and lifted her head, gazing into the distance.

Prime said that she didn't need to truly master the ability or even completely control the threads of Spirit Shackles either. It was already enough to have initial control over them, but for Zenesha, it wasn't enough.

She not only wanted to temporarily escape her fate, but she wanted to completely escape and control her own fate.

Determination immediately flashed across her eyes, and with one last glance outside, she returned to her bed. What she did, made her drowsy, and it already depleted her mental power.

For someone like her who could even withstand the power of the Moon Goddess, it was truly pathetic that she was already exhausted after only one failure of the most basic moonlight manipulation.

Zenesha knew it was mostly from her soul, as she wasn't used to the exertion of mental power and her vast magical power. But after a few times of practice, it wasn't long before she got used to it.

Since this body was still her own after all. It wouldn't make sense if she could use Zenesha's powers because her soul was different.

With that, and as she finally had a direction in which she could strive for her goals, Zenesha, after over three months of staying in this body, finally had a peaceful sleep for once.
