Live Up To The Role

It had been a decidedly hectic day for Hina as she had been swamped in work all day, all thanks to Kai who was nowhere to be seen. With summer slithering in, there was a number of things around the house that needed to be attended to. But Kai was surprisingly absent now of all times and Enji had shamelessly brought some of his workload to Hina, requesting for her "excellent assistance" as he had put it, while Kai was out to check up on some important matter. What was more important than all the pressing work he had piling up? Hina had been dissatisfied with the impromptu request, wanting to sleep in all day but not knowing how to turn down Enji's plea nicely. Plus, it was a favour for Kai so she decided to just play nice. He'd owe her one, of course.

She had been held up in the study for a couple of hours, the sun slowly beginning its descent as a few pink streaks of light were playing in the clouds, streaming into the office.
