53 The Super Villainess Qin Keqin

When the Devil Goddess had left Tang Bufan's quarter, an ordinary protégé was quietly observing in the shadows.

 She was none other than Lie Xingyuan.

 "Why did sect leader put on that golden mask? Why did she go to Tang Bufan's quarter for? Why is she trying to harm Celestial Shi Guanyin? What is her purpose?"

 These were the questions that she was asking herself.

 In order to find out more, she decided to follow her secretly.

Qin Keqin had already left the Heavens Ridge Villa and she was now strolling in the forested vicinity. An astonishing beauty had suddenly come into view. This astonishing beauty was once the number one beauty of the Nine Celestial Fraternity and she was Feng Minyue.

 As Qin Keqin approached, she greeted softly. "Sister Saintess Yuqing, you are finally here."

Qin Keqin's real name is Fan Yuqing. 

 "Lazy Danfeng. Why isn't she here?" Qin Keqin frowned. "I wanna ask why none of you come to my aid that day?" 

 Feng Minyue smiled, "She says someone got to stay behind to listen to the gossips of the city."

Then she eyed Qin Keqin playfully, "We are actually planning to come to your aid when you have purposely lose to that Great Saint Hu Yaobang."

Qin Keqin: ...

"I was actually planning to win." 

Feng Minyue shrugged her lovely shoulders as she gently shook her head, "You got to lose sometimes in order to lose. You just don't want to admit losing to anyone."

 Qin Keqin chuckled as she took off her golden mask and tossed it to her, "Never mind that or that lazy Danfeng. One of these days, I will hang her up on a tree again. Minyue, now it is your turn to role-play as the Devil Goddess. In this entire fraternity, there is no one who knows that we are the Devil Goddess and that we are two persons."

 Feng Minyue heaved a soft sigh, "I don't understand why sister saintess you are expending so much effort to weave such an elaborate scheme and concocting pills yourself. We have already burnt quite a big hole in our pockets now."

 Qin Keqin smiled wryly, "Maybe because I am too bored? Maybe I have too much time on my hands?"

 Feng Minyue smiled weakly, "While your schemes are refreshing and ingenious but I can't really say the same for your alchemy skills. It is terrible."

 Qin Keqin: …

 She forced herself to smile, "I need more practice. That is all."

 Feng Minyue smiled bitterly, "You have never succeeded on your first try, even for pills that you have concocted before."

 Qin Keqin chuckled, "I'm just out of practice, that is all."

 Feng Minyue sighed woefully, "I wish that you will give up on your alchemy."

 "Nothing is safer than your own pills. Moreover you can add all sort of interesting stuffs inside and no one will ever know." Qin Keqin smiled delightfully as she said that. 

 Feng Minyue rolled her eyes, "It's no wonder why your pills keep failing."

 Qin Keqin chuckled, "Don't worry. We are still rich. Didn't we just obtain some money from Tang Bufan?"

 "We have already finished the money."

 Qin Keqin gave a sheepish reply, "So fast…"

It was obviously that she knew how fast she could burn money on alchemy. But she gave a purposely reply, "We ought to ask Xuan Danfeng to cut down on her expensive wines intake. We can't afford to keep her around anymore. Maybe we can even let this good-for-nothing saintess go."

 Feng Minyue smiled weakly, "She doesn't spend as much as you do. Not even a hundredth."

 Qin Keqin laughed but she quickly asked, "Do you know how to instruct a disciple? You know that this is my first time instructing one and I'm a little nervous."

 Feng Minyue said, "I thought that you are going to move in with him for a day or two to instruct him?"

 Qin Keqin replied with a soft sigh, "Well, I've suddenly changed my mind."

 "Oh what had happened?"

 Feng Minyue asked but she was soon looking beyond Qin Keqin, "Unfortunately Sister Saintess Yuqing, it seems that there is someone who is following you and you didn't manage to notice her."

 Qin Keqin quickly turned around and probed with her spiritual perception but the intruder continued to remain hidden.

 She was soon growling.

 Feng Minyue said, "I don't think the intruder is able to hear our conversations earlier. Let me locate the intruder with the spirit array that I have in place here."

 As she started to probe with her divine sense with the spirit array, she was slowly pointing her fingers around the forested vicinity. All of a sudden she shouted, "There!"

 When Feng Minyue had pinpointed the direction, Qin Keqin had immediately flashed toward the direction with a startling speed!

 Feng Minyue said behind Qin Keqin, "100m ahead!"

 100m was just a blink of an eye for a super celestial expert like Qin Keqin and she had immediately attacked the bushes.

 As she attacked, Lie Xingyuan gave a startled cry as she quickly evaded the attack.

 Qin Keqin hummed coldly at her, "I wonder who is so formidable. So it is only you."

 Lie Xingyuan had turned ashen completely and she had fallen on her knees, "I…may acting sect leader shows your mercy on me. I didn't mean to follow you…"

 Qin Keqin scoffed coldly, "Didn't mean to follow me? You have followed me for some time already, am I right? What did you see and hear?"

 Feng Minyue had already flashed next to Qin Keqin and she was surprised that the intruder was only a lowly third realm expert that was following Qin Keqin, "Huh? Is only a young maiden? She is actually capable of even following you?"

Qin Keqin said quietly, "She is capable of concealing her presence completely. Her master and her background must be quite formidable for her to follow me without me noticing her." 

 Lie Xingyuan bit her lips, "I know that I won't survive the day. Please don't tell Senior Brother Lu what has happened to me. Just tell him that I have left for my hometown."

 Qin Keqin chuckled, "Now you know. Xingyuan, since you've already known who I am, surely you know there are fates that are worse than death?"

 Lie Xingyuan smiled bitterly, "I know but I won't let you torture me…"

 She had suddenly unsheathed her sword but Qin Keqin had knocked her sword aside and had grabbed her throat as she said coldly, "I won't let you bite your tongue either."

 Feng Minyue said with a soft sigh as she caught hold of Qin Keqin's wrist, "Sister, let's not frighten her anymore. Let me handle her."

She turned to say gently to Lie Xingyuan, "We won't kill you but we have to imprison you for the time being. It is because we can't allow our secrets to be found out by anyone."

 Lie Xingyuan smiled bitterly, "Anything. But I won't tell you who my master is. I only pity Senior Brother Lu. He is so pitiful. He doesn't know that the person that he loves is actually a super villainess. He has actually trusted you and pinned for you. I feel so pity for him."

 Qin Keqin: …

 "You are actually so vicious to conspire with Tang Bufan to harm Celestial Shi Guanyin. Surely there is nothing you cannot do." Lie Xingyuan spat bitterly.

 Qin Keqin smiled when she had mentioned Tang Bufan and Celestial Shi Guanyin, "Tonight there will be a fun show and I will take you to watch it with me."
