The Villain’s Repentance

Lara was at rock bottom, feeling like a puppet whose strings had been cut. When she stumbled upon her husband and best friend in a compromising embrace, everything fell into place. The heartbreak stung, but it also ignited a fierce determination within her. Instead of wallowing in despair, fate intervened, giving her a second chance at life—waking her up ten years earlier, just before the chaos began. Armed with wisdom, she promised herself not to repeat the same mistakes. As she stood at the top of the stairs, her gaze fell on Lucas, her once-beloved fiancée. Regret washed over her; she couldn't believe she had almost let him slip away. This time, things would be different.

Chapter 82 - Parents - teacher

"Good Morning Ms Bella," one of the secretaries greeted as she entered the office.

"Good Morning," she said, flashing the secretary a smile and walking into the CEO's office.

She walked in to see Lucas already at work; one thing she had learned over time was that she shouldn't compete with him in coming early.

She had attempted to come earlier a couple of times but still met him there. Over time she realized that he mostly slept in the office or came as early as dawn. She has a daughter to care for, she won't take that early time.

"Good Morning Sir," she politely greeted as she walked into the office, not waiting for a reply. She immediately got to work reading out his schedule for the day that she put together the previous day.

"Your first meeting starts in half an hour," she repeated, his first sentence again.
