The Villain’s Repentance

Lara was at rock bottom, feeling like a puppet whose strings had been cut. When she stumbled upon her husband and best friend in a compromising embrace, everything fell into place. The heartbreak stung, but it also ignited a fierce determination within her. Instead of wallowing in despair, fate intervened, giving her a second chance at life—waking her up ten years earlier, just before the chaos began. Armed with wisdom, she promised herself not to repeat the same mistakes. As she stood at the top of the stairs, her gaze fell on Lucas, her once-beloved fiancée. Regret washed over her; she couldn't believe she had almost let him slip away. This time, things would be different.

Chapter 28 - identical dress

Amira like everyone else turned towards the entrance closest to her and she was shook, her clutch bag fell to the floor and she subconsciously covered her face. The other socialites around her all looked back at her and stiffled their laughters.

The dress that she thought Lara was gonna use for the after party was on the wine servers, everyone of the ladies that just entered had one the same dress ( although a simpler version) as Amira.

For anyone who didn't know better would think that Amira was was one of servers, but for those who did they just found the whole thing a laughing matter.

Hearing the suppressed laughter around her, Amira turned on her heels and ran off.

Lara who was standing on the stage saw this and a broader smile graced her lips, she picked up a glass from one of the servers and clinked it with Lucas before having a sip.
