60 Chapter sixty

"Also, Master Rong." Meng stood still without turning around. "If it ever comes to the point that I require that kind of medicine to survive..."

Meng turned around with a cheerful expression still on her face, yet the words that came out were anything but cheerful. "Kill me."

Rong You froze for a moment before he felt his entire teaching ego crash to the ground. Three days were completely wasted. Silently he cried tears of injustice as his cold disciple went to look at books.

Fine, if she was still unwilling to show him respect after all of his sacrifices he'll have to just teach her to do so! With anger in his eyes, Rong You swiftly added another number to his Meng cultivation hero plan. [Teach disciple to respect elders!]

...

Having been in the library multiple times Meng was able to successfully walk through all of the books. However, regardless of how many times she entered, she really didn't know where to start. The undeniable truth was that she wanted to read them all!

An intensely happy look appeared in her eyes that questioned the lines of sanity. After all, she was surrounded in a sea of fantasy books.

A small laugh left her lips as her eyes looked at the books the way one would look at a lover. Why was she worried about what book to start with? She was devoted to reading them all anyway.

"Su Lou, for your first real assignment you'll be carrying books back to me." With a pip in her step Meng went to a fluffy couch in the library and sat down. It was next to a rather large table, therefore it was sufficient to carry the books that will be around her.

"It doesn't matter what books you bring back, however if my hand is missing a book, you failed." Meng raised a empty hand before closing it in a crushing motion. Holding a dare within them, her eyes glared at Su Lou until Su Lou broke out into a cold sweat.

"Yes Princess Meng!" Su Lou collapsed on the ground to bow. She then slowly got up before heading to the book isle. Meng stared after her silently with a raised eyebrow. Why did it always seem like violence was the best way to pacify people?

From ripping arms from threatening to commit murder it seemed that both gave satisfactory results. Meng eyes became contemplative. So the best thing to rule people was fear?

She couldn't be completely sure about her thesis, but decided to definitely carry out more experiments in the future.

Shuffling entered Meng's ear and made her come out of her contemplative state to see Su Lou holding 1 book. It was so thick that Su Lou was forced to hold it on one hand as if it was a platter.

A delightful grin came across Meng's face when she saw Su Lou's choice. If you were going to be a greedy idiot it was best that you'd be a tactful one. 'This book should at least take me a couple of minutes.'
