59 Chapter Fifty-Nine

"Master Rong I completed the task!" A cheerful voice came from the hallway causing Rong You to automatically stand up from his chair.

He looked over in alarm at the direction of the voice to see a happy Meng and a terrified looking Su Lou. His lips twitched, 'I didn't expect her to be out so soon. Also, she doesn't look angry at all...'

"Out so soon? Did you finally drink the medicine I made for you?" Rong You said calmly with a happy look in his eyes. As he thought with a strong enough hand all kids couldn't help but go along.

Internally patting himself on the chest, Rong You decided to finish off his life lesson. "Bai Yao Ling I'm sure you understand now that when you put yourself in danger you have to be prepared to face the consequences. Sometimes using cultivation energy might not work and you will be forced to lay in bed drinking that medicine constantly. Try your best to avoid trouble until you can get strong enough to face it."

After planning the speech so long in his head, Rong You nodded his head in satisfaction. Even if his disciple didn't drink the medicine, with such sincere words she couldn't possibly ignore him.

A crafty look appeared in his eyes as he glanced at Su Lou who was staring intensely at the ground. Her eyes no longer held any of the arrogance that they had before and she looked like she would possibly collapse at any moment.

'Truly two birds with one stone!' Rong You was on cloud nine inside about how the situation turned out.

Previously, when Su Lou had entered his library he already wanted to beat her bloody for looking at his disciple with so much disrespect. However, how could he possibly risk getting on his disciple's bad side?!

By giving her enough power, he got Su Lou to show her true intentions to Meng. A calculative light grew in Rong You'd eyes. It shouldn't be long before his disciple threw that snake out!

However, reality was often disappointing... "Mmm, understood. Su Lou come with me we are going to pick out books." Meng said in a kind, unbothered tone. She respectfully nodded at Rong You, yet it seemed like her attention was divided the entire time.

She would act like she was looking at him, yet her eyes kept swaying to the book shelves.

Rong You felt an arrow go through his heart. But, kept his head up. Even though the first part of his master plan failed at least he thought his disciple a needed lesson.

His teacher ego reared back and he reached for the plans he made for her closed cultivation time. With a lot of time to think he had successfully formatted a plan to turn Meng into a hero.

First, he of course needed to teach her responsibility. Then could come all of the other things, which will undoubtedly turn his disciple into the greatest demon slayer ever!

Once he had the plan in hand he looked up to see that Meng was already walking away. 'This disrespectful disciple! When did he say he was done speaking!'

Rong You inhaled air to yell out for Meng, however unexpectedly she stopped walking.
