The Interview

Even though she imposed the idea, Luna had no choice but to live her life with her new bodyguard. Dimitri was not your average bodyguard because he was well-built with a handsome face!

His face is so handsome that he looked more like a Calvin Klein model and not a bodyguard. If you could earn more money taking pictures of your face and body, why waste your time protecting another person?

To top everything off, Luna hated the idea of having someone following her like a lost puppy. Having a bodyguard is already eye catching, what more with a handsome one?! At this point, Luna was regretting asking Lorenzo's point of view on her pictures!

'Think of happy of thoughts Luna! Think of happy thoughts' Luna said to herself to calm herself down. She had to attend an interview about the magazine so now she had to go to the agency auditorium for a question and answer portion with the press.

She wore a simple white graphic t-shirt paired with a light-brown pants and black stilettos. Simple was the dress code, and what did her bodyguard wear? A full-on suit with a blue necktie! Going unnoticed is immediately out the window.

The room was jam-pack with reporters and journalists wanting an interview with Kevin and Luna. While the press were patiently waiting on their assigned seats, Kevin and Luna's crew were busy preparing both models backstage. Make-up kits with bulbs on the mirrors were on full brightness. Noticible sweat droplets were dripping off the stylists and make-up artists even though the air conditioner was on full blast.

Casy and Kevin's manager (Martin) were on their toes. People were running around franticly, there were papers on the floor, and the press' chattering were the only visible sound heard, apart from the heavy foot steps of the crew members.

When the clock ticked 9:00 A.M. Kevin, Luna, and Grandpa Dru were already seated on stage ready for the answer-hungry press. Cameras were flashing in every direction. Everybody had a chance to ask a question but with a time limit. Each reporter/journalist had 2 minutes to ask their questions. After that 2 minutes Kevin, Luna, or Grandpa Dru would answer and then they would transfer the mic to the next press member. The rules strictly stated that if one of the questions were too personal, a member of the panel could refuse to give a comment. If a reporter pursues that said topic to be answered that reporter would be heavily penalized and would be banned from stepping foot on the establishment again. Those certain rules were made especially by K.M.A. for the safety of their models' privacy and those rules may or may not be present on other modeling agency guidelines.

When the event started the first few questions were mainly directed to Grandpa Dru. Those questions were mostly about the theme and concept of the magazine, which he was able to describe it in just a few words. "The word RICH was the main theme. The concept on the other hand was from people's perspective of being RICH. When asked about being rich, the top answers were money and family so that is the presentation my crew made on the shoot for the magazine," he answers briefly.

A few more elaborations later and the next questions were directed to Kevin. Examples like how he maintains a good body and what was his response to his adoring fans who were so excited to meet him on his fan meet-up next month. Kevin just smiled and said that a healthy diet and a regular workout session is his go to procedure for his body maintenance. About the fan-meet up, he was just as happy and excited to meet his fans. Kevin even assured them that he would be giving away free limited edition merchandise to his fans on the day of the meet-up.

With the satisfactory responses from Dru and Kevin Kelly, one reporter turned her attention to the silent beauty that was Luna. Being new to the company, Luna's name was still unknown. Leading the reporter to ask her about how she was able to land such a big project with so little experience on the field, was it talent or just luck.

Hearing such a passive aggressive question directed towards Luna made Grandpa Dru upset. Though the question could be down played as an innocent inquiry, knowing the press it was like asking "You're new here, you have a backer don't you." Adding more fuel to the fire, the reporter that asked the question was also known to be a bullseye shooter on asking juicy straight forward questions to known personalities. She had a reputation of asking scandalous questions about a person's life. Though she doesn't over-step her line, the question itself could already spark new scandals in a celebrity's life.

When the question was asked the room suddenly became quiet. People were awaiting Luna's response. Hearing no response from Luna, Grandpa Dru was about to say something when Luna finally picked up her mic and smiled at the reporter, "I'd like to think it was because of my personal talent on modeling, but only time could tell if it was plain luck or true talent."

With just a short answer Luna was able to shot down an attack on her reputation. Luna is already an expert on under-pressure questioning, she wouldn't last as a CEO if she wasn't able to answer such childish questions.

After being shot down on her question the reporter sat down with her head hung low out of shame. Her reputation as the reporter who could place anyone in a scandal was easily washed away by a starting model. The thought of it bugged her all throughout the rest of the interview which took about 2 and half hours to finish. When the interview was done, they were all escorted out by security.

Backstage, when Kevin was about to start a conversation with Luna, Dimitri came in between them. Dimitri stopped Kevin from coming closer than 5-feet to Luna.

Seeing a bulky man in front of him hold him by his collar scared Kevin out of his wits. Seeing the pale Kevin when Dimitri came between them made Luna frown. "What are you doing?" she whispered.

"I'm just following protocol Ms. Luna," he whispers back.

"Let me be! You're not my dad to restrict me on who I can and can't communicate with! Now I'd appreciate if you would let Kevin go,"

Dimitri releases Kevin's collar making the poor man drop to the floor making Luna's eyes widen. As she was about to help Levin up, Dimitri dragged her to the car and locked her in.

"Where are you taking me?! Open this stupid door! Hey!"

"Sorry Mrs. Khan no can do. The boss has instructed me to bring you to him right after the interview session. One of the rules on the contract is that no male would be able to talk, touch, or think of you."

"That bastard!"

"I am sorry Ma'am but Mr. Khan is going to skin me alive if I ever break any of his rules."

"I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at him and don't worry I'll make sure if he ever thinks of skinning you alive I wouldn't let it happen because I'll be the one to skin him alive later," Luna joked making both of them share a brief laugh.
