Anabela listened to Arthur in embarrassment. After dinner, he sat down next to her in a secluded part of the courtyard to talk about her morning's behavior.

“I know, and I'm very sorry,” she said and looked up at the stars with blushing cheeks. “I'll apologize before I leave, I promise.”

“Okay, beautiful girl,” he hugged her. “But I'm worried about you. Are you interested in Samuel?”

She sighed and bit her lower lip.

“I don't know... When Ivan left me, he came up to me and it was very nice. Then he walked away and avoided me. I ignored the whole thing because I was so hurt. You know how much I loved Ivan, we had three years of dating and soon we were going to get married.”

“Yes, I know. The fool married Roman's daughter.”
