TURNED BETWEEN TWO LOVERS

Adam's car stopped right in front of their staff house. Since Adam was already there, Ella had to be hospitable enough to invite Adam inside. However, she knew that Dane was there too, and bringing Adam there could indeed cause commotion on everyone. It would probably surprise them.

"Do you want to go inside?" Ella asked Adam with a smile. However, deep inside, she was hoping that he would just simply decline.

Yet, Adam was always Adam. He would never say no. Instead, he said. "Do you really want me to meet your friends?"

"Actually, not all of them were my friends." Ella was right for all the years she stayed there; she and Dane made their own world as if no one else existed aside from the two of them. They didn't mingle much with their coworkers. They were so close in their relationship to the extent that Ella didn't even know most of their names.

"I see. Can you just show me your room, if you like?"
