MORE THAN THAT

John tiptoed behind Yden with curiosity to sneak a peek at what she was doing, and it seemed like she was sending money to someone, and John's eyes widened with how thick the file of paper bills she inserted on the machine.

He took aback just before Yden could notice him, spying at her. He didn't say anything, but John was suspecting something. Could she really trust Yden? What was she doing?

They devour their snack and finish it without a word with each other. Yden was obviously busy thinking of something. As John noticed her stalled and stared at her food. John, on the other hand, didn't try to start a topic. All he did was just observe Yden, or maybe wishing that he could read her mind.

John had been trying hard to endure the silence the entire time. When all he wanted to do was ask her questions after questions, he wanted her to open her Pandora's box, and John didn't care if he would be the luckless person or even he would be cursed.
