Behind Blair's sleepy and blurry vision, she narrowed her eyes just to read what was written in the book. The book prints looked much smaller than they were a while ago, probably because she was already too sleepy to read.
However, not even somnolence could stop her from finding a way to help Lucien.
The book said that there were mainly four reasons why vampires were urged to bite and trigger their blood lust. The first was hunger. But Blair knew that it would be hard to make Lucien get hungry, he was used to eating human food, and he could live it.
The next one was to trigger his anger. Blair had seen that when his appearance changed while strangling Maev , but she doubted if she could trigger Lucien's anger, especially because she was already aware of Lucien's feelings for her.
Then the pain. Blair put her finger on her chin as she thought.
'It should be the pain. He was wounded, and that was what was supposed to trigger him. Like the last time.'
