Lin Wan had fallen asleep.
Auntie Huang knew about the plan. She waited for Li Yanchen and the kids in the living room.
At 11 p.m., Li Yanchen woke his sons up at the office. "Let's go home. It's almost time."
At the mention of "home", the three kids sobered up. "Yay! It's Auntie Lin's birthday!"
It was late at night. The weather was chilly. They pulled their jackets tighter around them and headed to the garage.
Li Yanchen was worried he might not get the house decorated in time, so he had Secretary Han, Assistant Qin, the planning manager, and the deputy manager.
The two cars drove toward the Li family's house.
When they arrived, Li Yanchen and the three kids stood in line with gift boxes in their hands. "Grandma Huang, how's everything?"
"Sir," said Auntie Huang when she saw them. "Young masters, everything is ready."
"Great," said Li Yanchen. "You guys set up the balloons."
