A Small Conversation

'Why is she here? I know that her Dad's company is participating in this but only her dad should be here.'

As Dan looked at the people around her, he saw Lily's Dad and another person talking to each other.

As Dan saw Lily's dad, Zane also saw Dan.

Zane's face became a little annoyed and called Dan out, "What are you doing here?"

"I am working, you got a problem with that?"

"Stop lying, how could the Ace Corporation hire trash like you."

"Oh, how am I trash?"

The other person near Zane said, "How dare you talk back to Uncle!"

"I am not talking to you and by the way which idiot are you?"

"How dare you call me an idiot. I am Harry and I will have you know that my father is the CEO of the Coldwell company."

"Whatever idiot."

"How dare you! I just sent some people to beat you up last time. This time I will send someone to cripple you."

"You can try but let me warn you. If you really send someone after me, you should be prepared to get your arms and legs broken."

"Hahaha, a poor person like you dares to say that you will break my arms and legs."

Lily tried to change the conversation saying, "Let's just go somewhere else and focus on getting picked for the project."

"No need. I told you, my dad has asked someone from the higher management of the branch corporation to make sure that uncle Zane's company will be one of the companies picked the project."

"Oh, your dad knows someone from the higher management and is making private deals with them."

"Yes, are you scared now? I can get you fired anytime I want."

"If you beg now, I won't fire you."

"You can go ahead and try."

Lily told Dan, "Just apologize, your job at the corporation seems good. Don't ruin it."

"I am not ruining anything."

"Just forget it, Lily. I am going to call."

Lily tried to stop him but the call had already connected.

"Uncle Levi, this is Harry, there is an annoying employee here. I was wondering if he could be fired."

After a while, Harry ended the call and told Dan, "Uncle Levi said that he would be coming down here himself. Get prepared to be fired."
