28 Grace

"...Also, don't let Phyllis play the game, it's too dangerous for someone as pure as her."

Uncle Max had to hold his stomach because of the words Himu had spoken. {Yeah, right son, I know who it is dangerous for, and it's definitely not Flower."

"Himuuuuuuu... how are y..." he cut the call as a feeling of dread overcame him, going away as fast as it had come, as he heaved a sigh of relief, believing that he had spoken low enough for the owner of the low pitched demonic voice to not hear him.

Oh how mistaken he was!

After a few seconds, he heavily regretted having told Uncle Max where he would be in the game.

{If she comes after me in the game world too, Maxin Dahl will definitely die by my hand.}

After a few minutes, his secretary Grace brought in a file for nearby sites that could be bought.

Swara had told him that she wanted to open a school a few days ago, so Himu decided that if they were going to do it, might as well make a school for all the grades and a university.

The files showed him 3-D holographic pictures of the land, with their prices and owner name on the side.

"Acquire these three, are the blueprints ready for the new manufacturing centre we want to build?"

"Yes sir and I believe that you want to construct the manufacturing centre on the farthest land," she said, pointing at the first land that Himu had chosen. "I will promptly contact a contractor. Also, the experts you hired for the school and university curriculum said that they will be able to submit their work tomorrow."

All Himu said to her was "Good job." before leaving. He knew she needed no motivation, only his appreciation. Grace was an elegant 5'7" woman. Despite her being only 23 years old, she looked much more mature for her age because of her height and her sharp eyes. One could say she had fat in all the right places of her body. Her shoulder-length brown hair was straight. The glasses with a black frame that she wore, went along nicely with her shoulder length straight chestnut hair. She was an action oriented girl who would learn from the mistakes she made.

At first, being inexperienced, clumsy and shy, she made a lot of mistakes. Sometimes, she would be embarrassed of herself, consider herself a failure and cry in the washroom or at home. The dirty looks from some of the male colleagues didn't help either. Many a times, she wanted to quit, but she was an orphan who didn't have many real friends, or any for that matter.

One day, when there was no one in the washroom except for her and she was quietly crying in her loneliness, thinking that maybe she should quit, Himu entered the washroom.

He heard her, his heart ached seeing a beautiful girl cry, yet he didn't say much, he just ruffled her hair, "If you need help, just ask me."

Grace cried and hugged him weakly. Himu liked that, but...

"But first you need to go to the girl's washroom before someone sees you and wash your face."

Unfortunately, someone did see them, and long story short, there's now bad blood between Grace and Phyllis.

Every time she would visit Himu at his office and see her, there would be sparks flying between them. More than once, a fire lit up near them.

So, they would have to put it out, and Himu would have to leave the office to keep the two away, since apparently Phyllis would follow him anywhere he goes. He wasn't faster than her, so he couldn't run away, and he had to sit next to her in the car, for which he had pre-set Feingold to drive faster when she was with him, so he could get out of the car, and lock himself in his room. Yet, sometimes he felt like she was deliberately going a little slower, enjoying her owner's misery.

Since she wasn't with him today, he was in no hurry. Feingold started driving the car as soon as Himu sat in it, sensing no nearby humans.

"Hey Fein, who's Shorty Money?"
