Unknown POV continued:

As I looked around the entire ground for a 200 m radius around me had been turned into a pitch black wasteland.

The floor was this black crystalline substance that absorbed almost any light that came towards it. I blinked as if to lul my eyes into seeing more than was there.

I strained and pulled myself off the ground. Next to me stuck into the crystal ground my stick. I yanked it from the floor and stumbled back into a tree.

"Ow.."

I looked behind me and the trees had become black, their branches warped and twisted. The place where I landed a piece of the bark had peeled off and revealed a familiar inky puss like fluid.

I didn't feel like testing its validity so i left it alone. A few seconds later the tree had regrown its lost bark. I looked at this and wondered if i was going mad from my head injury.

I felt in my pockets and noticed the coin was missing. I thought back to the sticky sensation i felt right before I passed out and couldn't really put anything together. I chose to focus on the more important task.

" Now where is everyone..."

I wandered around this forest of crystalline darkness and puss. It was almost as if i was in a new world where the borders between fantasy and reality were just a step away. After searching for an unknown amount of time I found Belle.

She was unconscious and seemed to be mumbling something about someone named planchar? I tried to shake her awake but it seemed that all the fighting she had done drained her completely.

Then again its strange how I feel so lucky and am so full of life right now. I wonder what could have happened...

I continue my search and i reach the center of whatever this is. On a pile of pulsating flesh and puss sat a golden medallion. Its eyes had completely drained into a shallow pool of liquid at the center.

As i stepped closer a feminine yet mature voice called out to me.

" Foolish boy."

I duck and roll sideways separating myself from the the direction of the voice and turn to face it as I stand up.

Infront of me was a woman in some familiar fashion. A half moon crest covered her clothing and her robes were covered in stars. They were large and cumbersome but she did not seem to mind. As if they were barely a weight on her shoulders.

Her eyes were ethereal and were half moons. She looked extremely beautiful. She had short black hair that formed little furls at the edges. Her face was slim and regal and she stood as if she was of noble blood.

" I had business with that mad doctor. So why is he the centerpiece of this hotspot young peasant?"

I shook my head I had no idea what she was referring to. What was a hotspot?

Noticing my lack of vocality she raised her hand towards me. Bright star like shapes formed in her palms and they shot out.

My body reacted on its own and as if manifesting out of nothingness a coin appeared in my palm and fell to the floor.

I don't know what came over me but my mind told me to say heads.

" Heads!"

I yelled out before it landed. The coin landed face up. Revealing heads. As if they were off target all of the star like projectiles veered out of my path landing somewhere in the distance creating small explosions.

" Sigh. Lucky shit. Your kind don't usually live this long."

'My kind. What is she talking about?'

" What are you talking about?"

Before I could speak anymore. I felt my mind and soul being almost pulled out of my body. I looked up to the sky. The full moon had gotten a little brighter and as I struggled to raise my head. I saw that there was a deep frown on her face.

" Don't think because you are able to speak to me freely you are suddenly a match for my level. I only restrained my aura to prevent anyone from detecting my presence until I figured out what happened. Just being in my presence too long will cause you to lose your shit mutt. So don't get brave."

I stared down at the floor and felt as if i was being evicted from my own mind. I had no idea what she was doing but it felt as if I was in some hot shit.

'Archbishop..?' Could it be of the noble faction. Ahh Im supposed to help the loyalists kill these guys but how can I do that now. Im too weak still...

Suddenly a loud bang echoed out from an unknown direction. Unfocused on her surroundings She failed to notice the curly haired man leaning against a tree behind her. The barrel of his black pistol glowed red hot from the friction of the bullet.

The bullet traveled and was about to hit its mark. However just as it was about to penetrate her skull she leaned slightly to the left. As if on a swivel her head turned 180 degrees and she frowned.

There are more of you...hmmm.
