As Yukirin predicted, the principal called him for a 'conversation'. The others time he had to fight could be his fault, but this one, he was actually just protecting himself. But that wasn't his only concern. Arthur would probably be aware that he got expelled, so they would end up discussing again. Although feeling like he's not the one to blame, Yukirin didn't want to make Arthur mad and frustrated again. While thinking about it, he went inside the principal's office.
''Why have you beaten that children again?'', the principal asked with visible frustration on his face, which was pretty intimidating actually
''But they were the ones who started!'', he exclaimed, wearing an angry expression, ''It's not my fault that they decided to bother me!''
''And do you really think I'd believe in you?'', the principal kept his intimidating expression as he sat on his chair, ''There were ten of them 'against' you! Ten of them! Do you get it? How would you be innocent if you managed to beat everyone on your own?''
So, it was a trap after all... It didn't matter if they were fighting back, or just pretending to, Yukirin would win that fight anyway. And once he was the winner, there was no way for the principal to believe he was innocent this time. They didn't want their revenge in a fight, but they decided to outsmart him. How could he be so foolish? Now, he wanted to beat them even more, until he was satisfied, due to how hateful he was. His hate was overflowing, until he punched the principal's table, and broke it with a single blow.
''These bastards...'', he said that after retreating his fist, ''I will make sure to beat them even harder now!''
The principal was in shock. How could a young boy like him be so strong? Still, he kept his decision, and Yukirin was going to be expelled by the end of the day. After their conversation, the boy was sent to his class. At the same moment he got in, he noticed that the boys were looking towards him, with satisfied expressions, while taunting him. He decided not to care, because after all, the worst that could happen was Arthur mad at him. Getting expelled was the worst that could happen, so he knew he was up for a conversation later on.
''Hope you're happy about being expelled'', one of the boys from earlier said that, as if he wanted to taunt Yukirin
''Shut up'', he said that with a menacing tone, as he looked straight into their eyes
''Make me!'', the boy was now smiling as he kept taunting him
Now, with rage about how bold that boy was, Yukirin got up of his desk and held him by his neck, lifting him from the ground. Maybe breaking his neck would make Yukirin pleased, after all, he got expelled, but that didn't mean he got weaker. Besides, he could beat that boy as much as he wanted to, since he couldn't get expelled twice.
''If you want it then...'', Yukirin's eyes were partially closed, as they gleamed with wrath, indicating how mad he was, ''Why don't I shut you for the rest of your life then?''
When he was about to break the boy's neck, the teacher stopped him. It was like Yukirin wouldn't be able to release the anger he was feeling. Nevertheless, he had to attend to classes that day, since he would be officially expelled by the end of the day. He managed to ignore the boys, so he returned home peacefully.
At the same moment he got in, Arthur was already waiting for him, while reading a letter. It was obvious that the same letter was about Yukirin's expulsion. The librarian's expression was severe, and kind of disappointed. It was about time they had this conversation.
''Yukirin, my boy, you don't need to tell me'', he said that as he put the letter away, ''The principal sent me a letter, so I am already aware''
''So, what are you up to, Mr. Arthur?'', he asked that as he took a seat for himself, ''I was just defending myself, as usual...''
''I know'', his answer was kind of fast, but he had his severe tone yet, ''You know, I've been always teaching you that violence won't solve everything''
''Yes, I know. What about it?''
''Before I answer, I have to ask something simple'', his tone was now a bit more like the old and kind librarian who raised that demon child, ''What is the reason you fight for?''
What kind of question was that? Was there a reason for him to defend himself? And how did Arthur know that he was innocent?
''I only fight to defend myself, that's all'', he answered with a confused tone, wondering why did he ask that
''Wrong'', now, he had a confident, partially motivated tone, ''If that's why you fight for, why do you act as if a fight pleased you?''
''A-And how do you know that?'', the boy was stuttering due to his confusion, and he was unsure about why did Arthur know all of this
Arthur let out a smile, as if he was trying to encourage that child. Little did Yukirin know that Arthur was about to reveal something serious.
''When I was your age, I had a dream. A dream of, one day, be a strong warrior!'', Arthur had a proud tone as he said that, ''But, I needed to train to be accepted in the test. Why do you think we have that old dummy?''
''Wait, you trained with it?!'', Yukirin was excited about hearing that, since he didn't know that the old man who raised him wanted to be a warrior one day
''Indeed'', he still had his smile on his face, ''I may have said that violence wouldn't solve anything, but, it's not that I didn't believe that you should defend yourself...''
Such an awkward silence took over the room, as Yukirin looked with confusion into Arthur's eyes, as he said such words. So he believed the boy should defend himself? What was he talking about?
''What are you saying?'', Yukirin asked that as he attempted to finish that awkward silence
''I noticed how you always looked to the royal guards, my boy'', now, he made a serious look, but still, it wasn't a mad one, ''You want to be one of them, don't you?''
Yukirin was shocked. After reading a lot of books about knights, and seeing the royal guards, he started to train, so he could be one in the future. His dreams were about being a high level knight, and he was surprised that Arthur noticed that with ease.
''I suppose that look on your face answers my question'', now, he let out the same smile once again, glad to see that he was right, ''Anyway, I suppose it was a tiring day for you. You may go to bed and rest if you'd like to. Tomorrow we'll see what we can do for you''
''R-Right...'', he said that with an embarrassed tone, due to all this situation
Without hesitating, he got up and went towards his room. Yukirin was glad that Arthur wasn't mad, but he understood what was happening with the boy. It was sort of embarrassing, for sure. But, he was glad that he got to understand his feelings. Tomorrow would be a big day, according to what the old librarian said, so Yukirin had to be rested.
