Synopsis

In depths of mountains, there was the Kingdom of Monnon, where they kept me imprisoned. It was rare for me to ever venture out of the castle walls, even if it was as simple as walking through the gardens. My father and mother kept me away from anyone that could ruin my innocence. The day came when it was announced that I have become of age for marriage, I began to gain hope. Yet, it was hopeless to even think I'd have a choice of whom I would marry. My parents did not give options, no, instead they treated me like a puppet and they pulled the strings. What awaited me was a life that I did not ask for, a decision made without my consent, it was an unfortunate betrothal that was too soon to come. Or will fate break the ties only to lead me into depths of more despair? Will there be someone to save me from the grasps of this endless unfortunate phenomenon?

I really love this story! I can’t really find another novel to read in between this one because the storyline and characters are so good! The only thing about the writing is that the tense is off. Some sentences are past tense and present tense at the same time. Even with that, I love the descriptive writing and the story is excellent! I can’t wait to see what happens next!
