The Unfinished Stories

The Unfinished stories of novels that the author(me) has wrote but never published. [Keep in mind that none of these stories have been completely finished, but there are probably some chapters I wrote and didn't upload. The genre as well, it confused me on whether this should be a novel or a fanfic.] Neither the cover nor anything like characters from fanfic stories belong to me (unless it's an original character). It is alright if the original owner of one of the fanfics wants one of the stories to be taken down.

The Child That Never Existed

Eight years ago, since the public announcement of Mirror Gates and Dreams of Alice, a small child was born. The loud cries didn't end, while he was laying in a small crib.

In another room, with a blue sofa and wooden floors. The little child's mother seemed to be sitting down and staring at the floor with her hand on her chin. The troubled look was very obvious on her face.

"What am I supposed to do... he'll get back here in a few months..!" The child's mother didn't care that her child was crying, but instead seemed worried about something?

A few minutes after sitting and staring into nothing, the woman got up and entered the room with the crying child. She walked to the crib with a terrifying look, like someone who was going to commit a sin.

"Why can't you just keep quiet....?" Moments later, it was like her hands moved on their own. The skinny hands got closer and the little child.

Gaahh~~~!! Waagghh~~!

The baby's arms and legs flailed from side to side, as it couldn't do anything when he suddenly could not breath anymore. A *thump was heard and the child could breathe again, although it was still crying loudly.

"What am I going to do with you...?" The woman let go of the baby's neck and slumped to the ground. Her hands covered her face and a slight sobbing was hidden underneath the child's crying.

Fast forwarding to two months after that.

That same little child grew up quickly, but he stood behind a door frame, while peeking one of his eyes out. His mother, standing in the kitchen. She wasn't doing anything, except staring at the wall.

'I'm hungry.' Words that he wanted to say, but he knew nothing would come with speaking, for someone else to do what he wanted.

'But mother is still in the kitchen. What should I do?' The only food he can get, is from the kitchen. He knew that very well that his mother would not cook anything for him.

Almost like answering his question, his mother finally moved and sat on the couch. He still needed to be cautious to not bother her. He quietly walked on the wooden floors and struggled to open the refrigerator. Luckily, it opened quite easily this time, and a small breeze of cold air along with shelves of food.

Vegetables, meats, and pre-cooked food. Everytime, he would always go for the pre-cooked food, and if he was lucky something sweet would be there.

One day, something strange happened. Mother was answering the door and had a slight smile on her face. He was looking from behind the doorframe again. The man outside the door was wearing a black suit and sunglasses, with a muscular build.

He didn't have as much of an ability to translate what they said, but he knew they were talking about him. 'What are they talking about...? Why would mother be talking about me...?'

(What the actual conversation was like)

"Madam, we've been asking around the neighborhood if there are any unwanted children in their possession. I'm part of a local orphanage."

"Orphanage...?" The woman's eyes lit up. This is what she was looking for! Her husband would be home from a trip in a year, but she had a child with someone else. It made her troubled.

"Yes, if there are no children, then.." The man in black was about to turn around and leave, before the woman stopped him. "Actually! I do have one. A small two month old child! I'll go get him for you."

With that, the man turned around and waited at the door front while the woman went inside. when the woman returned again, there was indeed a very small child standing next to her.

She gave him a little push on the back, and made him take a small step forward. "Alright, go with the nice man."

"Thank you, ma'm. You can think of the child as never existing in the first place."

He still didn't take any more steps outside, and the muscular man from the "Orphanage" had to carry him. His mother waved and closed the door, armsnynds he was being carried off into a car.

Inside of it, one other guy that looked similar sat inside.

"You done? And you actually got a child? Nice, dude."

"Just get driving."

He was put down on one of the seats, and sat there obediently. Although he looked calm and composed, questions were zooming through his mind.

'Who are these people? What is this big moving thing? Why am I here?' This definitely wasn't the thinking process of a two month old child, but who cares? It wasn't like he could speak yet, so no one knew.

Half an hour passed.

The big moving thing came to a complete stop. Right inside this small narrow space behind a building, was a trap door on the ground. The little child was taken out of the moving thing, and led toward the door on the ground.

Creak~~~

One guy went in first, and then another after he walking in. A flight of stairs was under the trap door and it kept going down and down, into a deeper place. A few minutes of walking down the stairs, it was a little darker than outside, but there was a large room.

Inside the large room, we're hundreds of smaller room. Although, they didn't have a solid door or fourth wall. 'This place doesn't look very good...' He could catch a glimpse of other older children inside some of those rooms. The look on their faces was like like his mother's or even worse!

He still had to keep walking though.

Clank-!

"Alright, this is your cell for the rest of your little life. Get used to it." The The man pushed him into the cell, and locked the door before leaving.

Inside the room, was made of stone and had a small bed like thing made of straw.

(;'^') I know he's two months old...... Anime logic.
