A star? I wasn't even close to being something as beautiful. But... undying? Yes. I was. Since death never ever accepted me into its embrace. So what if I live this story to its end one more time? Just one last time. I want to feel it, living, rather than death. Only once. What awaits me at the end of this never-finished draft, I wonder... Is it the cure to my curse, or yet another rebirth?
"OUCH, Lior! Lior, Lior, wait, that really hurts!!"
The prince tried to pull the pup away, but he failed miserably. The wolf was literally chewing his fingers. He looked up at Kieran to seek help, but seeing his expression, the prince swallowed his words.
"Don't... D-don't look at me like that! Do you know how long it's been since I last met him? I wanted to give him a pat!"
He spoke as if it was the most natural thing to do.
"That doesn't mean you can let him pierce your shoulder!"
What kind of a pat was that? Which sane person would do such a thing?
"Why not? What's so wrong about it??"
Kieran reached out and grabbed the prince by his armpits. He shook the man back and fro.
"Where is your brain?? What have you done with it? Did you drop it somewhere??"
"Kieran!!"
Why did this prince look baffled? The one who should have such an expression was Kieran. He so wanted to punch that bewildered face of the bluehead.
