The Undying Star

A star? I wasn't even close to being something as beautiful. But... undying? Yes. I was. Since death never ever accepted me into its embrace. So what if I live this story to its end one more time? Just one last time. I want to feel it, living, rather than death. Only once. What awaits me at the end of this never-finished draft, I wonder... Is it the cure to my curse, or yet another rebirth?

Not right

"Hey, Kieran. Between me and Eliot, who is better?"

Kieran was one of the few people who knew both Ian and Eliot and was also on Ian's side, so the prince was almost sure he would receive a satisfying answer.

"The crown prince and his brother? Both of you are useless."

"What??"

That wasn't right! How could Kieran have such an opinion? The crown prince fumed soundlessly, vowing to never speak to this rude boy ever again.

"...I guess you're right, Kieran. I'm actually useless."

There was no other explanation for the situation.

He thought about it for a long, long time. From early in the morning to late at night, while eating, in the middle of studying, during his classes, and when speaking to the others; he thought about it deep and hard.

What was so different between him and his baby brother?

What has Eliot done to deserve all of that he had?

Did Ian lack something?
