The Undying Star

A star? I wasn't even close to being something as beautiful. But... undying? Yes. I was. Since death never ever accepted me into its embrace. So what if I live this story to its end one more time? Just one last time. I want to feel it, living, rather than death. Only once. What awaits me at the end of this never-finished draft, I wonder... Is it the cure to my curse, or yet another rebirth?

What are you doing here?

Deep blue, soft locks of curly hair, and ocean-hued pupils. A young face still bearing the remnants of childish innocence, woven with a rare touch of earnest determination. His not-too-buffed, yet well-tuned muscles were still distinguishable through baggy clothes as if no attempt was made to hide his hard-earned strength, attracting any sort of gazes to himself.

"...What in the world...."

Eliot?

Why is he here? What's that boy doing here??

"Ah, you weren't briefed on your way here? Then, allow me to explain."

'That's Eliot. That's Eliot, right? How did he end up here? He wasn't supposed to know about this place. How did he find out? Why is he here? Alone? What about a guard? A knight? Where is his army?? Why is he here without anyone protecting him??? How did he end up in that carriage?'

It was dangerous. Far too dangerous to be here alone. Was that boy out of his mind? What if something happened to him? What if he got hurt?
