A star? I wasn't even close to being something as beautiful. But... undying? Yes. I was. Since death never ever accepted me into its embrace. So what if I live this story to its end one more time? Just one last time. I want to feel it, living, rather than death. Only once. What awaits me at the end of this never-finished draft, I wonder... Is it the cure to my curse, or yet another rebirth?
A new group arrived
The concept of Ranks inside The Church of The Sun was yet to be widespread and well-known since it was a new project initiated just recently. Even though, there were places where these ranks were put to use, such as the castle, the army, and the hidden residence of the saints. In order to put this new policy to use, the church had to design proper trials and examinations.
The process of a Rank evaluation could vary from person to person depending on their capacity to control Aether, the purity of their Holy Power, its density, and the probable form of their blessing. It wouldn't be a lie to say that for every person, a different method existed within the church.
