"Please enter, esteemed sir."

The crack of light oozing through the gap in the door was obstructed by the looming shadow of a figure striding inside. As the two walked in, the atmosphere automatically grew heavy and cold, as if that single person's presence was too heavy for this place to bear. 

"What did you call me here this time?"

"Ah, sir, I'm sorry to bother you right after our meeting but... I thought I needed to show you something."

At the momentary pause, the bishop rushed to the central desk inside the archive, and then the sound of papers rustling rose as if he were searching through a pile of files. 

'Who is that man...?'

The only features Eliot could make out about the person following the bishop were his deep male voice and his long coat.

Covering his face with his borrowed robe and hastily moving through the shelves to avoid being caught, the crown prince sharpened all his senses so as not to miss the slightest detail.
