The Undying Star

A star? I wasn't even close to being something as beautiful. But... undying? Yes. I was. Since death never ever accepted me into its embrace. So what if I live this story to its end one more time? Just one last time. I want to feel it, living, rather than death. Only once. What awaits me at the end of this never-finished draft, I wonder... Is it the cure to my curse, or yet another rebirth?

I'll help you out

"Oh, you asked what why wanted in exchange." Ian touched his chin in thought, "I told you before, I want a settlement. A good one. You guys have many hideouts, it can't be hard to give one to me and my group."

They couldn't travel all the time and were too poor to buy a place on their own, so this woman here had to become their landlord.

"H-huh, wait a minute."

Ian didn't allow the woman to interfere.

"On top of that, I want a position inside the Army. A clear position solely owned by me. Better be a high-ranking one."

He needed to officially join this group if he wanted to freely execute his plans. He didn't want the case with Claus and the Elf Viallge to repeat again.

"Wait a damn minute! That's way too much!"

As if providing a settlement wasn't hard enough, he even wanted a high-ranking position for himself. These two were in addition to all the money and resources he'd requested before!
