The Undying Star

A star? I wasn't even close to being something as beautiful. But... undying? Yes. I was. Since death never ever accepted me into its embrace. So what if I live this story to its end one more time? Just one last time. I want to feel it, living, rather than death. Only once. What awaits me at the end of this never-finished draft, I wonder... Is it the cure to my curse, or yet another rebirth?

Don't fight with old men they are very strong

The greatsword slashed on; Might, rivaled by none. The snow sliced down, the earth smashed up. Speed unmeasurable by the eyes, the blade jabbed at the four unwelcomed flies.

Baangg

Earsplitting shockwaves echoed in the land, immense vibrations shaking the ground. As the man pulled back his hand, he saw a thick, white shield expand.

"Old man, don't just blindly attack."

A youthful voice. A gentle tone.

Was he being taken lightly for being old?

One foot kicking the floor, the man dashed along. No matter how strong, a mage had never won against his sword. The blade, uphold, glistened gold, its dull body frozen cold.

"You lot are quite bold!"

BANG

The shield cracked over and broke. The impact was too much for it to hold. As the blade moved forward, another magical layer was formed. One shield after another, all crumbled under his sword.

"Alright, we got it," the young man chortled. "You were itching all over for a fight."
