My name doesn't matter so let's call me.... Laney. I'm gonna write about my times that I thought my uncle never liked me.

I remember being young and very naive and super adhd. I was a bit much at times. I always saw how my sister had a close relationship with our uncle. I tried and tried but to no avail did he even give me a second look. I wasn't the only niece he acted this way to. Out of four nieces he only likes two. The middles. I was the youngest and didn't think any of this.

I remember him being away for many years from my grandparents house. They gave me the upstairs room as my space when I stayed with them. Had my own bathroom and everything. But it changed when he moved back home as a thirty-odd something year old who went to law school, but never took the bar to practice law. We realised he was an alcoholic.
