Grandma

My grandma babied this grown man. He felt it was her fault he couldn't survive on his own. Couldn't do anything but drink and watch her. It was like the moment she got sick, he lost his ability to keep a job.

My grandmother was a harsh woman as well. It was way or the highway. It took us years to take away the car keys. Then she tried to make her grocery store into a drive thru was the final straw. She was too embarrassed to drive, but not to embarrassed to shop at said store. It was always the between the cousins. The manager followed her in the store. Hahaha "Their back!!!!!!" She didn't care. She was harsh also in the way of my papa passed no one else could cry during the service or say they missed him. Only she was allowed to miss him or cry about him.

So when she finally passed on her children didn't know what to think. Some were able to grieve from their respective houses for their dad but those who were around finally could grieve both loses.
