The willow tree was dangerous. 

To prepare for the unexpected scenarios, Aru positioned himself behind a small boulder situated in the garden.

The boulder was partially submerged underground, with the remaining portion visible above. However, it provided sufficient cover for Aru when he crouched down.

This method was Aru's optimal means of shielding himself from physical assaults.

'Now, let's begin.' 

Aru began to connect with his link with his spirit energy. 

A thin thread of spirit energy was released from his body. It travelled in a straight line towards the pine tree behind him. 

Once the spirit energy thread made contact with the pine, Aru immediately got access to its spirit energy. 

'One is not enough.'

Without stopping, he began to use the spirit energy of the pine to create one more thread, extending it from its body to the nearest pine.
