Been Awhile.

David listening to the notifications of the system whilst strolled around the bustling City of New York with a look of admiration.

The warm sunshine spread over him, causing a soft nostalgic smile to bloom.

After all It had been a while since he had woken up from the space capsule.

"Well, I didn't expect that the year was 2008... But if I remember correctly this year will be a very critical period in time"

With a smile David continued "I must harvest as much prestige points as possible before the main story line begins"

Walking around with his tall and strong body, whilst having short and thick hair waved in the wind... Really complimented his strong masculine face.

His deep eyes that radiated a sharp attraction and that with his strong posture demanded ones loyalty.

Even if he was just causally walking on the street, he would still often attract the attention of many hot girls.

It's pity thought, David's mind was occupied as it seemed he was not in the mood to pay attention to them.

Thinking to himself "To be able to awaken the system, I had to sleep directly from the end of World War II to 2008. Although I lost more than half a century, it looks like it was worth it"

He first traveled to the beginning of World War II, and got The ultimate Superman System, helping his body's strength and speed greatly improve during the war.

And with a smirk he thought about the time he finally realized he was inside the Marvel universe, and got himself enrolled onto the battlefield.

Even after he joined the front line he didn't dare to relax his vigilance for a moment on the battlefield, until he actually awakened the system but what he did have gave him enough confidence to stand on a battlefield.

It's a pity that at that time, although his body was far superior to ordinary people, and even more powerful than Captain America's at the time, he was still just a mortal who didn't have superman's monstrous abilities. Back then a single shot from an enhanced armor-piercing round could kill him.

Not to mention taking a nuke to the face was impossible right now.

"System, can you awaken a Kryptonian lineage for me" David said silently in his heart.

David frowned, however soon after a series of simple statements were immediately projected into his minds eye:

Sighing "Well, at least it's only 10 reputation points for me to cross over to the next level. At least this time it's an accurate number, unlike the time during World War II, where the system left it up to me to guess the requirements"

Being left to give it an approving nod, if nothing else, he was quite satisfied with the changes after the system was updated and upgraded of his sleep.

Scanning throught the system David found the new prestige levels of the system...

When thinking of it's new upgrades, in addition to making up the corresponding prestige values, and with the now much more linear completion plan was quite excited.

10 reputation points was easy all he had to do was something noteworthy and maybe even news worthy.

Luckily a thought past through his mind as he look at the large skyscrapers that where not here when war was going on.

Funnily enough with that in mind David went around to Queens, and immediately climbed up the second tallest building that was opposite a Stark building...

Looking down at the street below he smiled:

"The number of people in and around the Stark Building should be enough to get my prestige points on to the next level"

...Calculating the height, and his body's current physical fitness, it was safe to assume that he would live after hitting the ground.

After saying that, he decisively took a run-up, and jumped dozens of meters forward, and immediately starting his descent to the ground below.

BOOM!!

Unfortunately on Davids landing he hit the front of a Ford supercar that suddenly jolted to a stop which was crumpled beyond recognition.

Citizens quickly noticed the situation and immediately started shouting commands to one another.

"Call the police!!"

"Someone jumped!"

"OMG, Somebody died!"

"Call an ambulance!"

The screams of pedestrians rang out one after another.

Between the crackles and fire, David felt a powerful wave of heat ignite within his body heating up his body.

Unbeknownst to him his very being began changing, starting with each cell crazily running rampant forcing the very fundamentals of his mortality etch closer to that of a higher being.

And at this moment, David could only feel the warm from the sun enter his body, and with each passing second providing him with a huge amount of energy slowly improving his life level...

Calmly walking out of the pit like nothing had happen happened.

Slowly patting the dust from his body, he then to his surprise spotting the figure sitting in the car staring blankly at him in amazement.

An unexpected joy could be seen in his eyes, as the son of an old friend was sitting in the car looking up at him.

"What are you doing?" Tony who sat in the car, said whilst he calmed down after just having his car crushed before him.

Tony unfortunately had no idea who this person was but he had to play it off because this unbelievably strong man in front of him could kill him if he so wished.

"Hmm, this is unexpected, Tony, I'm jumped off the building" David chuckled.

"I can see but why infront of mine? Do I perhaps owe you money in some way?" Tony said still trying to determine the person's mind.

"No, not at all I just needed everyone to know I was back" David said calmly as the last bits of dust where flicked off his body.
