The great eagle was shocked and started screeching at Glorfindel again.

Glorfindel carefully observed around and said.

He picked up a rock and threw it into the water. The water bubbled and dirt started evaporating. A reed lifted itself to reveal the rotting trunk of a pine tree half-submerged in the water.
