Such a mystical tool can almost be deemed an god-level artifact, but now it has lost all its original power and serves solely as a container for the Time Gem.
Even Leon felt a tinge of disappointment, sensing the unfairness of it all.
"Open it?" After inspecting the Eye of Agamotto in his hand and finding nothing magical about it, Leon turned his head and handed it back to the Ancient One.
The Ancient One silently nodded.
Leon hurriedly walked away, not even attempting to hold onto the Eye of Agamotto, let alone open it himself.
Regardless of the reasons, it seemed that he had passed her test.
The Ancient One took the Eye of Agamotto from Leon's hand and, employing an unknown spell, slowly opened her palms, revealing the Time Gem nestled within.
As the Time Gem appeared, it emitted a green brilliance, exuding a divine aura.
Leon's eyes widened, fixated on the Time Gem. For some reason, he felt as though he had truly glimpsed something pertaining to the laws of time, perhaps even tapping into the wellspring of power.
Unconsciously, Leon raised his hands. Just as the Ancient One's expression turned worried, Leon pushed his hands forward.
"Crack." Something seemed to stir in the darkness, and then, time stood still.
In that instant, time throughout the entire universe came to a halt. For all beings, there was no perception of any change or the fact that time had ceased around them.
Even the mightiest cosmic entities lurking within the depths of the universe could only vaguely sense it within eternity.
However, it was merely a perception, as nothing could be altered.
Eternity, one of the five cosmic entities in the Marvel universe, represents the collective essence of the multiverse, claiming dominion over the existence of time and space.
Time is one of its domains.
Yet, even Eternity felt a disturbance, for his own time was also brought to an end.
How could this be? Who was responsible?
Is it the Living Tribunal?
No, the Living Tribunal was similarly affected.
At that moment, the entire universe was brought to an end of time.
Until Leon swiped his hands to the left.
In an instant, the entire universe sprang back to life, but instead of returning to normal, it began moving backward in time.
Even the Ancient One in front of him started to regress along with time, while Leon seemed to be outside of this progression, observing it all.
Then, as Leon moved his hands to the right again, time "progressed" once more until it reached the moment when Leon first observed the Time Gem.
"Stop." Leon halted time once again, and then, at a normal pace, allowed the world to truly return to normal.
Why did this happen?
Leon lowered his head and examined his hands.
The Ancient One was perplexed, unaware of what had just occurred.
After a while, Leon wore a pensive expression, as if he had already grasped something.
With a bemused smile, Leon seemed to recall that he had entered the realm of the fifth dimension.
And for beings in the fifth dimension, isn't manipulating time the simplest thing to do?
Fifth-dimensional beings have control over time. Time, in their eyes, is akin to watching a video, and they can freely manipulate its flow, advancing or reversing it at will.
That's why it's said that fifth-dimensional beings can effortlessly distort reality and possess near-omnipotence.
They can appear at any point in the timeline as they desire.
Leon had possessed such abilities for a long time, yet he remained oblivious to them until he beheld the Time Gem with his own eyes, realizing his capacity to control time.

Thus, the Living Tribunal slowly closed its eyes and fell into silence, taking no further action.
