COURTNEY'S POV

"I've had enough of all of you!" Viktor yelled in anger. He then pushed Griffith towards the edge of the mountain the sword still inside him. Aldric and Isaac stopped moving, shocked by the scene before them.

"Griffith!" I screamed, mortified by what I was witnessing. I stopped walking and immediately turned back toward them. Griffith looked confused and surprised as he looked down at his wound before looking back at Viktor. Viktor then mercilessly pulled the sword out of Griffith's chest and pushed him over the cliff of the mountain using his leg. I watched in pure horror as he fell over and into the mist below.

A blood-curdling scream escaped my mouth as I ran over to the edge of the mountain from where I was to see if I could catch a glimpse of Griffith as he fell, but I couldn't see him. The mist blocked my view of where his body had gone.
