CHAPTER Eighty- One

I was nervous about being alone with Peter. I was still in shock and overwhelmed with it all. I couldn’t believe he was here! And he wanted to get to know me. I have been worried that if they did find him, he would want nothing to do with me.
“Are you going to be OK” Ryland asked.
“I will be fine,” I smiled and kissed him, “I will text you when we are done and see where you are,”
“OK, my love,” he smiled, “I love you,” he added, squeezing my hand.
“I love you too,”
I said goodbye to everyone, and they left us alone. I suddenly felt awkward.
“Where is good for coffee around here, now It has been a long time since I have been here,” he said.
“There is a small coffee shop only ten minutes from here by foot,” I whispered.
“Do you want to go there” he asked, “I know all of this is a little strange,”
“Yes, it is. And it is always a yes to coffee,” I giggled as this can’t be easy for him either. However, I was sure in a bit of time we would relax.
