When Yu Wang entered the base he saw everything in a commotion. Frowning he asked the passer by, who was in that much hurry that he told him to look three floors down then when he went there he saw his brother standing by the wall looking at the ceiling.
He had never seen his brother in this state. 'What the hell happened?' he thought.
From the corner he saw Jiang Cheng getting out of a lift and he took him to the corner to inquire, But Jiang Cheng exclaimed "What the hell? Stop dragging me to corners like that I have a girlfriend!"
"This is what I am asking what the hell happened here? Didn't you say you found that bitch?" Yu Wang whisper-yelled, ignoring his comment.
"Don't call my sister a bitch!" Taking a deep breath he continued "She is in the surgery, she got in an accident."
While coming he did notice the damage. Rolling his eyes Yu Wang raised his brow, "That is definitely one of her tricks! It is deliberate."
"Trick! She didn't even know where the Headquarters were, NOBODY does!" He said in bitter tone and left, not wanting to feed himself off anymore bullshit by his childhood friend.
They had been friends since their teens. They trained together and with past time they became from combat partners to Best Buddies then crime partners. They did everything together. He knew him from a decade and also this supposed 'sister' of his.
He scoffed and thought of going to comfort his brother but then thought against it and left the Headquarter. What will he even say?
He was happy that evil woman was finally where she should be 364 days a year! On the hospital bed only that way she can be harmless!
After eleven hours:
Yu Youhan stared at the girl that laid on the bed motionless now in a clean white dress, as the world around her didn't even matter to her.
"When is she going to wake up?" He asked in crisp detached voice, that was due to restlessness or desperation nobody could tell.
"M.. Master Yu, Miss Lei lost too much blood. Her other organs didn't suffer much but her h..head it suffered some extreme injuries in her hippocampus area, so it is possible that she may lose her memory temporary or permanently, that can't be said just yet. We have to wait till she wakes up, that is if she wakes up…" He stopped as the cold glare he received from his Master but decided to continue as he knew hiding anything won't be in his favor.
"Argh…. Master she is in coma we ca..can't say till when she will wake up but her head being the major part that suffered the injuries. It is evident she is going to take enough t..time to suffice the healing process…"
"When is she going to wake up?" His Master asked again in a colder, calm tone than before, as the temperature kept dropping 50 degrees with every passing second.
"M..Master we ca..cant say anything ye..yet, b..but we will surely be able to tell in a week or two looking at her healing progress…" The head doctor felt his whole back wet from sweat due to the tension in the room despite the continuous dropping temperature.
Even the others in the room weren't in any better situation either.
While everyone in the room began reciting mantras for their dear lives.
They felt as their worlds were really coming to an end as the Emperor was doing nothing but looking at the woman on the bed with frowned brows, not uttering anything.
After what felt like ceased eternity The Evil Emperor said, "Shift her to the Shandian Mansion." This really had the attention of Jiang Cheng and others as their heads snapped to their boss in a jolt. Just who was this girl?
It was where their lethal boss lived, nobody means NOBODY was allowed there, not even the mother of the Yu brothers could enter without the permission of their Master and even then she didn't get to stay even for a night. Their boss just loved his privacy this much.
"Yes, Boss!" Jiang Cheng answered without letting his shock affect his tone.
Turning to leave the room, their Boss stopped after a few steps and said, "In the room next to mine."
"Y..Yes Boss!" Utter shock was an understatement Jiang Cheng had never suffered this much thrill in thirty years of his life as much he had in the last three days. Looking last time at the girl in wonder he followed his Boss outside.
